We have a lot of lighted art work throughout our home. The Advent Gemini Picture Light provides the best lighting with the least shadowing of all the different ones we use; e.g., uplights, downlights, adjustable recessed cam lighting. We would highly recommend this light for any type of wall art. The thin arc extending the light over the piece doesn't interfere with the view at all.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was very disappointed in this light. It is very cheap looking. My existing lights in the room are of quality construction and material, and this light looks like something from the Dollar Store in comparison. The "shade" part of the light is made of very thin "tin", and the arm had plastic brackets spaced every 6 inches, which is not shown on the picture. I'm not sure why they are there, except to hold the shape of the arm, as it also is very cheap, thin wire that probably needs support to maintain its shape. I also got charged an extra $47.53 by UPS as "brokerage fees", on top of the shipping charges I agreed to pay when ordering.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The light we purchased from you had an electrical short, was smoking and sending off ash. We threw it away.
Would not recommend.
