This is a fantastic light. Only caution is the true size. Initially purchased it for a kitchen island...due to 36" width we are using it as an entry way light and having it professionally installed. Got a fanastic price at Lighting Universe also.

  • Q: I'm curious as to how much light this lamp throws down versus laterally or upwards. Also, is this adaptable to a track system?

    1 Answer
    A: It's open bottom and top so it's going to throw all the light equally down and up. They do offer adapters for track lighting but at 27 pounds this fixture will be to heavy.
