I was surprised when this arrived to see that it had a plug instead of usual light fixture wiring. However, my electrician easily removed the plug and hard wired it into the ceiling. This fixture is a great value!

Bought this to decorate a vacation home with a mid-century modern vibe on a budget. Totally looks the part - it makes just the right statement - fun and funky but still very sleek. Love that it accepts two 100 watt bulbs for plenty of light (had my electrician put it on a dimmer for when less light is desired.)Cord long enough to install on very high cathedral ceiling, which was important in my situation. And please, the price!!! I researched the manufacturer and found similar items at 3, 4, even 5 times the cost! Easily one of the best purchases I have EVER made.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
