I had gotten several of these and several of the Quorum 19" square light. These lights were packaged much more securely and the installation was much easier. Unlike the 19" lights the mounting holes on this light included a set on the 45 degree diagonal that match the screws on a standard octagonal box. Wiring and mounting was easy, light is bright and looks good. Good value.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Q: I have this in my kitchen and the light is dimmer than when it was new. It is less than a year old. Any ideas as to why this has happened?

    A: Sometimes the conection at the nut which ties the house wire to the fixture is not tight enough and is not connecting properly, this can work loose after time if it was not tight to begin with. I would suggest turn off the power strip down the wire and reconnect with new wing nuts. Let me know if this helps. You might also try new bulbs as florescent do fade out over time but usually last longer then a year.
