These lights are not the easiest to assemble. The nipples for connecting the down rods to each other could have been a little longer. I bought replacements at the hardware store. Installation was not difficult, although getting three of them to line up plumb and even with each other tried my patience. The instructions were worthless.
They look great when you're done.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
