don't be fooled by photo!

There is NO brass on mine and the "brass decor" around the neck is actually gold colored paint--you can see the uneven brush strokes. I should have taken the warning "...the image above may not be identical to the product you receive" literally. Cheap looking lamp!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
