simple & beautiful, but...

This is a very simple and attractive stem design. The mahogany finish is attractive in most any setting. The only negative is the one wire and one screw design that holds the plate to the ceiling and stem extension that holds the glass dome. Seems a bit precarious and made it difficult to level the plate on the ceiling.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
