I got this light fixture to use as an hanging light under a hut that is placed above a grill table in a Thai restraunt. They wanted dim lighting so I chose the Amber paper. They are beautiful and sets off a romantic light. I don't suggest this color in a bathroom if you are wanting more light. Also, keep in mind that the paper only covers two sides. This became a slight problem for me in my project.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
