pos - do not waste your time
Lamp came with crude instructions (wordless diagram). Contractor and 2 other people spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the shade over the bulb assembly. Basically, best we could figure, you need to disassemble all the hardware to get it through the shade, and would have to do this every time you changed the bulb. Again, Chinese instruction diagram was no help at all. ATG/Lighting Universe refused to arrange pickup, so I have to pick up a huge box and ship it back at my own expense, plus they're deducting $13 for the original shipment, so it's probably just going in the garbage. Thinking about buying this? From this place? Think twice. Will be posting this on Yelp as well.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Q: How do you change the lightbulb on this pendant?

A: You change the bulb by unscrewing the diffuser located at the top of the pendant. The socket assemble is attatched to the cord, and the diffuser will drop down so you can then remove it and change the bulb.
