I ordered 3 of these lights for a very small kitchen area. Reading the companies brochure for this product, they state that the 3w LEDs are comparable to a 40w incandescent bulb. After installing the lights and downloading the technical information on the product, I come to find out that they claim that these lights are comparable to a 15w incandescent light! 15 watt? Even with all 3 of them on spaced 2.5' apart it's hard to read a book under the lights. Also, I have been trying to find a brighter replacement LED and they are non-existent. It's ironic that these LEDs are dimmable also! Maybe they come from the manufacturer on the dimmest setting!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
