The Novel wall unit utilizes both a pin based compact fluorescent

bulb and an LED light source. A 4-way switch is included for isolated

or combined operation of the fluorescent and LED lights. The upper,

fixed, part of the assembly uses a 18W high-output fluorescent bulb

and provides ambient lighting to the room acting as a wall washing

fixture. The lower, movable, part uses a 3W Super Bright LED light

source. It is intended for a reading light and can be moved away from

the wall and adjusted for optimal illumination of the reading material.

This type of fixture is especially suited for hotel and hospitality bedroom

applications and also in residential living rooms over a sofa

placed by the wall.
