I think this site is great, with the low prices and free shipping and all...but it's still hard to make a decision on something like a chandelier just from a picture! Well...it just so happens I loved it once it arrived. I was worried the 3 lights wouldn't be enough, butthe glass shade is bigger than it appears in the pics. My main reason for purchsing this one was b/c I hate the chains that come with virtually every light out there! I like the clean look that comes with the straight rod coming out of the ceiling. And, the price was much less than the ones from the major chains like Home Depot and Lowes!

Assuming you're NOT fixing this directly to the ceiling, you will use the extension poles. The extension poles fit together so you have to use the 6" piece with between zero and three of the 12" poles. For my 8.5-foot ceilings, I had to put fixture higher than I'd like, but it still looks fantastic. Measure to make sure you'll be happy with it before buying!! The three light poles are slightly adjustable so you can correct it if it looks crooked. I've noticed that oil-rubbed bronze can mean many things, but this fixture is the more common dark brown with reddish hints. The glass shades are larger than they appear in the picture but are in proportion with the fixture. I am very happy with my purchase.
