Although I was very happy with the delivery time I was somewhat disappointed by the product. It came with a rub mark near the switch with the finish worn down, probably from shipping, but it wasn't bad enough for a return. The switch itself though, doesn't work three ways but only two. I think it may be something in the socket. Again, I decided to live with this flaw rather than return it.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not terrible, but given the quality, the price was twice as much as I would have expected to pay. One of the screws to adjust the shade was nearly stripped, so we can't adjust the shade angle. And the lamp stands at and angle; it looks like the base is slightly bowed.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
