This low voltage flexible display light is perfect for spotlighting art work and exhibitions. It comes supplied with a standard clamp for surfaces ½" to 2½" wide, a 60w electronic plug-in transformer, and a 10' cord. This fixture is made for use with a glass covered MR16 or MR11 lamp, or use a "lens clip", and is also made for front access providing easy re-lamping. It dims with a general electronic dimmer or standard incandescent dimmer. The flexible arm allows the creation of multiple desired angles.

These knobs are very striking. They are well made, the detail is excellent, and the finish is beautiful. They look even better in reality than from the photo.

dl-214 clamp mount light

The clamp shown in the web picture is vastly different than the actual. The clamp is large & sticks out so far that it distracts from the picture. Also the standard M-11 bulb used (flood)has light "spray" that floods the wall around the picture. It looks like you must buy a shield for $16 more, but I question whether that will solve the problem. It should come with the shield.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
