This ceiling fan was installed by a professional, so I can't really comment on ease of instructions, etc. He installed it with a (separately purchased) wall remote and I'm very pleased. It looks great in the space. Only wish it took more wattage. The single chandelier bulb is not as bright as I would have preferred.

Looks nice, but not too bright. Installation was cumbersome due to our wiring status (old house, big wires), but the mounting bracket was user friendly and detachable for the wiring part (so we didn't need to hold a fan up in the air during that portion). Lightweight. Only complaint is that the light output is dim: have to use 2 small 40 watt bulbs. Fan circulation is good.

These fans are whisper quiet, move a lot of air and are easy to install. The contemporary design fits my decor perfectly. I must have gone to twenty stores looking for something unique and reasonably priced. I found all that on Lighting Universe. Fast delivery and no damage.

I did not immediately review this fan since it was purchased for a vacation home. Now I see that is has been discontinued. Too bad. It is a great little fan for my small galley kitchen. It is very stylish and does the job of cooling an area where the air conditioner does not reach. Should you find this fan somewhere, do not hesitate. It is quiet and very effective.

It is absolutely stunning. I have more light in my room than ever before and the prismatic effects are awesome. It is on a dimmer switch so I can make it be like candlelight (very romantic) and it still sparkles and glows beautifully. I had an electrician install it and he had no problems at all. My husband thinks he could have done it but we were happy to have a professional put it in for us.

We purchased 3 of these fixtures 1 on each side of our garage door and 1 to light the side passage to our front entrance. Our drive was on an incline so we wanted a fixture that didnt shine in your eyes as you pulled into the drive. These were excellent and provide an attractive contempory design to our property that none of our neighbors had. After moving to St. Louis we've been searching for these. And now we own 2 more.

The overall appearance of the lights is good, but the quality of materials(at least on the electrial part) was not what I had hoped for. They were mounted above a fireplace, and because one of the sconces would not line up with the outlet we already had, there is a difference in height between the two. the distance between them was enough so that it is not too noticeable. But I did get complaints from my husband about the frustration with mounting them.! I wish it was possible to get lighting that had good old American quality, instead of ones "made in China"!!!!

I'm spending some time updating our bathrooms and some of the fixtures in our house - it was decorated 15 years ago and is looking kind of 80's. I thought lighting fixtures might be over my head - but then I thought again and took the plunge. I ordered the Angelo Brothers fixture and it was easy to install and I took huge satisfaction in the completed project.
The only complaint I had was that it took a while to get here. When I contacted Lighting Universe they discovered Angelo had not sent it. Lighting Universe was polite and professional in handling the problem and it did arrive!

We were looking for outdoor fixtures for our 1930's Mediterranean style house. We purchased pairs to flank the sides of french doors leading to the back courtyard. The glass is a bit more amber than shown which stands out against our whitewashed house but they look fine. They are well proportioned for a larger house.

Purchased 2 of these for our home. Not very bright with just (2) 40 W bulbs, but in smaller rooms with additional light sources, they work fine. These are the only black modern-style fans I could find in anywhere near the price range. Some of the installation hardware wasn't high quality (the wire nuts especially), and there is some slight motor noise, but for the money this is a great product. Very happy with the purchase.

This fan is perfect for those attempting a modern look on a budget. The lines are clean and when flush mounted it occupies very little volume. The finish on the fan blades is not perfect, ie the sides of the blades; but this is not noticeable once it is mounted. Great price for a nice fan.

The fan really kicks some air in our family woodworking shop. Only thing is, no matter how hard I try, it still wobbles alot. It also does not move as much air as some other similar fans. But the price is right, and it does as it says, so yes, I would buy another one.

I bought two of these Comet ceiling fans last season and at first I was very pleased with the product, the style, function, price, etc. I live in an apartment block the noise and vibration form these fans travels through the whole building. One of the fans in particular disturbed our neighbors in their overhead bedroom so much that I had to replace the Comet with an alternative product. I tried to remount the fan with runner mounts which reduced the problem but not enough. The second fan makes a low frequency vibration sound (resembles a distance ship!) which can be hear throughout the apartment. It is less noticeable on lower speeds but nevertheless is quite annoying. I am just hoping it does not disturb someone else in our block!. This has been a big disappointment to what otherwise is a nice product.

This is a solid lamp, and quite nice (rea: understated, not chincy-glitz) for a chain pull flush mount. The price point is high for what it is, though. Should be closer to $20-$30, I feel.

The Comet is a good fan but, if you are installing it by yourself, do yourself a favor and disregard the step by step instructions. The initial step of attaching the support mount to the ceiling and getting the electrical connections (from the house)ready for easy access is okay. The instructions then want you to attach the motor assembly to the ceiling mount and hook up the electrical connections. Unfortunately, if you are by yourself, once you have done this step, the subsequent steps of attaching the blades and the light assembly are a royal pain with the use of only two hands while balancing on the top of ladder. You are better off assembling the entire fan on some soft surface like a bed and then carefully caring it up the ladder to attach to the ceiling. After that, hooking up the electrical connections and hiding them with the conical cover plate is straightforward.

This was one of the few pendants that I could find for a sloped ceiling, so I'm not complaining to have found one at a reasonable price. If you examine it closely, it's obvious that this isn't the highest quality stuff -- the glass shade in particular is scratched/chipped in a few places. But it serves its purpose in my main floor bathroom where it's not meant to be the star of the show.

Very satisfied with product. Diffcult if not immposible to find a wall sconce of any substantial size that has switch on the sconce itself. Have received compliments on the pair I bought for their appearance, and being able to use them has saved me several hundred $$ for re-wiring. Would definitely recommend.

We didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a fan, but we also didn't want it to look cheap. We didn't need a remote either, so this fan worked perfectly. We had trouble finding a fan with white blades at a reasonable price that looked semi-modern, but not too modern as to not fit in with our decor. Finally we found it with this fan and we couldn't be happier with it. The silver on the fan is a lighter brushed silver finish. Remember to have 2 small chandelier-like lightbulbs for it, as it doesn't come with any in the box.

I finally got the fan installed. The "hardware packet" was missing "pads" to aid in holding the screws while attaching the fan blades. It took awhile to finally communicate the problem and receive another "hardware packet" but they were fairly essential since it is rather awkward to install the blades. Now it is up and operating as promised. I'm pleased.

I purchased 10 of these lanterns in the small and large sizes for all of my exterior lighting. They are exactly as shown on the web site and arrived in 2 days (yes, hard to believe) from my order. The quality and agred bronze color are very good. Note that the glass is a very dense white and these fixtures look fantastic on a white or brown background, but may not look as nice on a colored wall, such as beige. In my opinion, these are a fantastic value from Lighting Universe.

We just received our outdoor sconce today. It arrived promptly and in perfect condition. The quality is superb given the reasonable price. My husband is a home builder and we're both very impressed. I was concerned about the Rust finish being too "rusty" oarnge looking like others I've seen but NOT AT ALL. The color is more of a dark brown slightly textured and ever so slightly rusted look. It couldn't be more perfect and we can't wait to see all five of them on our house!

Sparkles nicely on the ceiling and the walls. My only issue was the ground wire was seperate from the electrical hookup wire lead. The hollow bolt that the wires feed through should be larger in diameter. It is somewhat difficult to feed all 3 wires through this center bolt. The light looks very nice, stained glass would be better, but more expensive.

This fan is pretty powerful, at the highest speed it moves a lot of air. I put it in the kitchen which is in the center of the house, it gets air moving and generally blends the temperatures of the different rooms pretty well.

However, obviosuly not a 5-star construction; gaps between glass pieces and caming (curved metal) show that this product is mass-produced in China, but you get what you pay for.
