The fixture is attractive however the 35w MR16 gets very hot and I think is too bright for reading. You can not touch the upper portion of the fixture when the light is on unless you are wearing oven mitts.

After three different attempts to find the perfect reading in bed wall fixture, this one is the cat's pajamas. Barely there and so manuverable you can read all night without blinding your partn'r. Great in our transitional bedroom as well as a trendy hotel in London where I got the idea. An absolutely brilliant solution!

This vanity strip looks terrific in our powder room. The contemporary design is sleek yet functional--it provides a flattering soft light. The bulbs were included with my shipment which made the installation complete in one quick visit by my electrician.
In fact, he was so impressed with the complete package he copied the website and planned to use it for the fixtures needed for a house he was building.

This very creative and interesting design for a track light works extremely well for many applications. Whether you are trying to light two separate wall display units or an entire wall and the sides.

I just love the 'IN' bronze color and wide range of light postions available through the placement of the two swinging bars and six lights.

These lights look great. I would advise using a dimmer switch because they can be bright and they look great at low settings also. I ordered three single units and upon installing them found one unit had an unfinished edge. Lighting Universe was super at helping me get this replaced. If I wasn't so pleased with the product and service I would not have taken the time to comment on both.

I like these lights. I have them in a hallway that is shorter in height than the rest of the house. They match the finish on my other lights, but do not overwhelm the short ceiling height in my hallway. Very happy. They also have 2 bulbs which allows plenty of light.

I am pleased with my selection. I chose the brass color and had to make some adjustments in my home by putting a brass mirror in the area. I am also looking for other brass treasures to add to the area. The lighting is very strong, so I added a dimmer. Very elegant. Strongly suggest. I am pleased with my purchase. It was very simple to install. Strongly recommend.

The two lamps were mounted vertically over the same glass type top molded sink. They are outstanding, attractive and such a match up. The order was shipped and arrived right on schedule. Literature on these lamps should be inserted in Modern Bathroom's Newport Clear Bathroom Vanities.

These lights are very well made. The metal is solid with good workmaship. I would, however, like to have an option on the bulb wattage as part of the ordering process. The price is slightly higher than other comperable retail outlets, but the light design makes it desireable.

Easy to intall. You have to be careful when you install the screws since it's easy to strip it. Good value for the price. Very good looking when illuminated at night. The cover is glass and not polycarbonate. Would recommend it.

We bought this light for our vanity in our bathroom. With 3 150 watt bulbs, we surely thought that it would be plenty of light. We are disappointed in that the light output is very low, and very yellow. The quality and style scores high, but the light quality and output for 450 watts is poor.

This site was wonderful! Fast and FREE shipping! The price was 22.00 less than my local lighting store, and I didn't have to pay sales tax! I bought 3 of these, two in the front of the house, and one in the back. No one else has anything like this in my neighborhood. I think were are setting the re-modeling standard very high for a 47 year old neighborhood.

First, I just want to say the service was fantastic. I order online quite a bit and was extremely surprised when this item arrived in a matter of days well packaged with absolutely no damage. The light fixture is absolutely to die for! Very different and contemporary. It looks like it was made for my vanity set which has a glass counter that is made from the same glass as the light. The price could not be beat - it looks like a $600 fixture. I would not hesitate to recommend your site or this fixture to anyone in the market for lighting.

I bought this for my dining room (now an office) and it is perfect! The stock photo shows one way of mounting, but it also includes chain and extra wiring to make it hang lower for high ceilings. Installing took a little time, but it was well worth it! I bought the light that handles 4 regular light bulbs and the light that comes from it is great for the space I have. The rounded, white glass bowl on the light makes it a nice, subdued light and we have it on a dimmer switch, so we can change it as needed. I love the simple look of this light so much that I'm buying the regular flush mount light for my foyer.

Many times you are taking a risk when ordering on line as the product does not come close to resembling the web site photo. My order was filled promptly, the light was a perfect fit, customer service kept me informed, and I was impressed that it was delivered on time. The quality was better than I expected. I would definitley purchase addtional fixtures from this manufacturer. I had a local lighting store quote me this same product and the price differential was so significantly lower on line and delivery would have been more than twice as long.

It took me awhile to find the perfect fit for my bathroom. I bought the 2 light version (24") for my 24" vanity. From the helpfull reviews regarding the brightness of the 2-100w lights, I bought a dimmer switch and I love the range I can achieve from a bright light to subtle glow for ambiance!! Great for reading in bed without disturbing bed partner........light very directed and excellent quality........trick may be in how to replace LED bulb and expense of that bulb .....first saw this fixture in very well - appointed hotel room in Monaco......directions are for hard wire installation.....we used wall mount and supplied corded plug....directions do not cover wall mount/soft wire installation???.

The fixture looks terrific in my remodeled bath but unfortunately the way the product is constructed to hold the glass, especially on the bottom portion is a bit precarious so you have to be very careful when installing and changing bulbs. I have had to replace one portion and another is cracked but I am living with it. Also be aware that there IS a top and bottom which are different sizes.

I love the style of the light, but I have two of them and both of them have problems with motion detection. One seems to come on randomly, and usually not when there is motion. The other only comes on if there is motion in a very specific area of its view. They're mounted fairly high up on the outside wall of the house (about 17 feet up), so that may have something to do with the problems I'm having with them.

These are great lights for reading. By design, however, the LED light emission is focused and not very powerful, so if you need ambient light for a room, in addition to reading, these are not a good choice. If the goal is reading with minimal disturbance of anyone else in the room, these are for you.

Installed well. Nice looking fixture. Took some time to figure out adjusting the spots as direct view of the light is quite strong in a medium sized bedroom. Lights up the room well. Important to remember that these are four individual spot lights and that they take some adjusting in order to provide an even fill of light in a room. Better for illuminating a desk, wall, bookshelf, etc.

I've been using this lamp for almost two months now, and it's great! It looks great, it works great, and I had it mounted to the wall in less than 10 minutes.
My only wish is that it would move up and down, too. We installed it over a breakfast nook countertop that is open on both sides, and when the light is swung out over the bar it tends to get in the way of two people standing on either side of the bar talking to each other. If we could just move it down 6 inches when we need to, it would be the perfect lamp!

This is a great comtempo style unit that has worked well in the remodel of our Texas, ranch house. Instead of mounting this light horizontally, we chose (because of the space available) the mount it vertically. Wow! Fits perfect and looks great!!!!

I haven't put this up yet, but for the price, I'd say it is a good deal. I got it for a narrow entry way, with it's smaller base it will look great. I also found GU10 led bulbs elsewhere, this will allow me to light this otherwise dark space for little cost.

This is my second order from Lighting Universe. Service has been great. Online help is priceless, tech was very nice.

The product quality is good, not great. The Satin finish looks like someone spray painted it with a can of spray paint they picked up at Home Depot but wasn't very skilled at spray painting. I'm thinking of having it plated the next time I need to have some stuff chromed.
In order to replace the bulb you are going to have to remove (8) count'em (8) screws, so buy a long lasting bulb. The water seal is very good and it's cast aluminum so it won't corrode. The price was right.

Nicely made portable spotlight - bought two and they really solved a problem I had lighting some large paintings. As an alternative to having an electrician cut holes in the ceiling for recessed "eyeball" spots, these worked well.

The flex goose neck can not support the weight of the light. They hang straight down. I had to use wire to get them to stay in a permenant pose. No Instructions were sent. No light bulbs were sent.

Overall, this is a nice light. I bought the light because it holds 4 bulbs and I wanted to put compact fluorescents in it. I personally did not like the visible white metal mount above the glass. I spray painted the metal with chrome paint and it really dressed up the lights a lot. The glass does not completely enclose the fixture, there is an opening to let heat out between the white metal mount and the glass. If you have a very large room with low ceilings, you may slightly be able to see though the opening between the white metal mount and the glass. I also had to put four additional screws through the metal mounts to suck up the light to the ceiling.

Mine is the tiniest bit crooked. The bulb and the glass aren't completely parallel; I adjust it from time to time. But it's hardly noticeable and I like having something different over the kitchen sink.

Very good and easy to instal. One minus it is hard to buy light bulbs. You have to on internet to find one, most stores do not carry them.
