I thought this light fixture was pretty difficult to install because of the size of all the very small screws. I think the order of assembly in the directions would have made it even harder to install, as it says to assemble the entire fixture and then connect it to the electrical supply in the ceiling. Not really enough space to do that very easily. By connecting it and then adding the glass, it was very hard to get the arms in the exact right places to connect them to the glass with tiny screw on caps. Definitely requires two people, but even then, it's difficult to work with and heavy to hold in position while trying to complete installation. I will likely buy another because I like the look and want the two fixtures to match, but be aware of the installation process.

We've been searching for several months for the "perfect" mini chandelier for our masterbath area...found what appeared to be the perfect light for us on the internet...so we "took a chance"...keeping our fingers crossed that the product would look great (you can't always be certain from a photo posted on the net)...wondering if the transaction would be processed and the product delivered in a reasonable time and in one piece...(well, okay, I wasn't expecting the crystals to be in place, but you know what I mean)...So this is what went down: delivered on time, no problems with the transaction in regards to payment, wonderful packaging so the product was in one piece and the crystals protected from breakage, easy to hang ourselves (well, for my boyfriend, I'm a bit electrically "challenged") and it was beautiful! Loved the size, porportions and the finish...we want to order another for our kitchen! Cindy

Purchased 10 of these in June.The overall quality is only average. The width of the back is barely wide enough to cover a standard US wall junction/mounting box...in fact it isn't wide enough !
The glass on each of the 10 I have received, which I think is a fair sample, differs in size, form and symmetry in each one.
When you mount the glass into the bracket, it appears that the covering of the bracket is squeezed out and forms a rather unsightly shape, again this has happened on each lamp fitting.
This was supposed to be from a designer...they do look stylish but I have had to carefully match each one in each area of the room to achieve a sort of balance in shape and style...despite them all being the same !!!

If you order this fixture, be prepared to have at least three people on ladders to install it. I have installed many light fixtures during our home renovation, and this one has to be the most difficult ever. Assembly requires attaching several pieces with tiny little washers and tabs in places that are nearly inaccessible with fingers or tools. Then, try balancing the huge glass dish inside the metal ring while you attach more little tiny washers and tabs to connect the ring and glass dish to the arms of the piece affixed to the ceiling. To make things even more difficult, if not impossible, the glass did not seat properly in the ring and the first set of little screws work loose while you struggle with the glass dish...I boxed it up and had it sent back to Murray Feiss. A very nice look in the photo, but very poor design!

I love this mirror. Unfortunately when I remodeled, my husband tightened the screws because the mirror appeared to be loose, and it cracked. Have to replace the glass now. The mirror is very classy in the oil bronze.

I loved the mirror. The shape, quality and style are perfect. Unfortunately, it came with two scratches through the silver backing and had to be exchanged. The people at Lighting Universe were very helpful in resolving the problem and I liked the mirror enough to reoder the same one.

The lamp itself is not bad but it looks NOTHING like what you see in the picture. It was covered in dust to give an antique type of look. It looks very polished in the picture but the actual lamp seems to be painted by some kid at home. If you're looking for a dusty antique look this is the lamp otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

I purchased 2 of these mini chandeliers and they are stunning in my living room. They are the perfect size for 9 foot ceilings which are not suitable for larger chandeliers. I spent several weeks looking in my home town of Vancouver, Canada, but finally ended up ordering these on-line.

Received these pretty outdoor (garage) lamps and the matching patio ceiling light very quickly. Pleased with the style, beauty and quality. Remind me of tiny pagodas - clean lines with stacked roofs. Glad to be able to simply reach inside from below in order to change a bulb,(unlike the fixtures I was replacing). Some assembly needed, but easy and kinda fun. Note: these fixtures lie completely flat against the wall, so I had to avoid placing them where there was an architectural ridge on the garage wall. Well satisfied with the product and the look achieved.

I bought 2 of these lights. The glass was badly flawed on both of them. Holes in the etching and lots of scratches. One replacement light was sent after I complained to customer service. The replacement was worse than the originals. There was a 5 inch long depression in the bowl of the glass. Very disappointing because it is a beautiful design but poorly executed. Don't buy it.

Yes, excellent product and hi quality. Not something one can buy and Lowes or Home Depot. I wanted a different look for the front of my home and I got it. It is not just this product, there are so many to choose from. Variety is great and no complaints. I will buy again and again. Just a little too much money for it, however, well worth it in the end. In my opinion, paying more than $200.00 for a outside light fixture is too much. It better be worth it!

We looked at this same fixture in a local store. I remembered seeing it online, so I checked there. The online price was $46 cheaper, plus no tax or shipping. It arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. We are waiting for other bathroom fixtures to arrive before we install the light, but I'm sure it will look great in our 150 year-old Cape Cod-style house. Too many bathroom lights look Victorian these days, so we were happy to find one that is more Colonial/rustic in style yet provides good light. I will return to Lighting Universe again (and first) when I next need another lighting fixture.

These are wonderful towel bars! I ordered the large and small. They are very lightweight but very sturdy. They fit wonderfully in my newly remodeled "italian villa" bathroom. I also have the robe hook and cabinet handles. Just beautiful!

I bought the Maison de Ville Duomont F1880/3BRB chandelier for my bedroom. At first, I thought the chandelier would be too small but once the crystal adornments were added, it turned out to be the perfect size. I used Reveal bulbs for the chandelier and I get great lighting - also use a dimmer switch. I am very pleased ! TTC

My home sits back on a 1.5 acre lot, these lights' details stand out from the street and are very bright at night. But, again, just like with the other model I bought... they're difficult to place the bulbs into. Instead of having a 'trap' glass on the back, you have to take out the whole (heavy) glass casing out in order to replace the bulbs. I cannot imagine what'd happen if I ever dropped the casing.

Just purchased the tuscan villa towel bar and tissue holder to go with the tuscan villa wall sconces. Looks like my bathroom was professionally decorated. Beautiful!! My order was filled promptly, courteously, and it was pain free. It arrived in less than one week. My local store would have charged me more, it would have taken 4-6 weeks, and if for some reason I was unhappy, it would have been mine anyway because it was considered a special order. Lighting universe was a great company to order with, and if necessary, they allow returns. I'm getting ready to order more lights. Thanks again.

The Boulevard flush mount light adds simple geometric sight lines to room. A touch of Meiji dynasty feel to it. Easy to install if you've installed ceiling lights before. Instructions that shipped with light were written in stilted English, poor grammar. You get the feeling an ape with a crayon wrote the installation instructions.

I was looking for a different finish - not the ubiquitous brushed nickel or dark bronze, and not really brass - and this fit perfectly. Do not be mislead by the "Imperial Gilded Silver" description. It is a mixture of soft gold and medium bronze flecks with a very slight silver undertone. The globes are oval, and not round as they may appear, a soft golden beige & white. I was also looking for an 'uplight', which this can be, if you choose (unfortunately there was not enough space between mirror & ceiling).
I needed 3 fixtures for a bathroom remodel, so also ordered the 2-light. As the size of the backplate is the same, I feel the proportion to the rest of the fixture is actually better on the 3-light.
One of the globes had a defect on the rim, but it is being replaced.

I needed a specific size for my bath, the local home stores did not have anything to compare to this light. It takes 100 watt bulbs so it gives off a lot of light. Since I am a designer, I'm always looking for the unusual..but of course at a good value. The quality is very nice for the price. It doesn't put out a great amount of light, it's more for ambience, though it's adequate. I really enjoy it and would recommend it to others.

I was hesitant to order from you for the first time based on a previous experience. I ordered a chandelier for the same room 18 months ago from a different company and was disappointed once it was hanging. That other chandelier was priced right, but it looked to be of inferior quality once I saw it in person. I'd actually seen this in a retail store and fell in love with it. I have the birdcage type black knobs and this just fits in so nice with those. It is a high quality fixture that I will enjoy for years. Lighting Universe had a much better price, no tax and free freight, which saved me about $75. They were very prompt in filling the order.

My only complaint is you need to have a square, not round junction box for this light (the kind that would go under a light switch). This information should be posted with the specs, as we may not have ordered it as we needed to patch out drywall for the installations. Other than that, I love it!

This item was well packaged, arrived in perfect condition, and I love it. It is for my sewing area, as I was having to use several table lamps. It's nice to have "overhead lighting". It was easy to install, and I had a difficult time finding a chandelier that projected the light down instead of up at the ceiling. It looks lovely in the room and provides good lighting. I did not install it into a light socket, but added a plug to the cord and it works in an outlet that is attached to my light switch.

I really do like the look of the light fixture. It is well made and is different from what you find at the Lowe's/Home Depot type places. One note, the shades very challenging to install! Thank goodness for small hands, the tool that they provide works but is hard to manage--installing the shades was a two person job!

I did my research on foot and at my computer and am very satisfied with my choice. The sconces look great! We use a dimmer switch and they work nicely in the back wall of our family room. They are dimmed and used as theater lighting when we sit down to watch our Netflixs after a hard day of work. Would absolutely use this company again!

I experienced a good and fast service and got a quality product (only oredred one of the light fixtures, so no comment on "reproducibility" whithin the product line). The mounting mechanism is not the greatest: the mounting screw should be located at the top end of the fixture to bringe the center of gravity down and NOT at the bottom to give the lamp a chance to swivel around. Other than that: I would buy the fixture again at the same store. Good Price, fast delivery.

The engineers got it wrong on this fixture. It was difficult to mount, even with two people.

The support arms are to be attached to the mounting base before attaching to the ceiling, which is ok until you have to mount the globe and ring.

You can attach two arms to the ring with the tiny nuts and washers easily if your hands are small as a toddler. Once you have the two arms attached, you can slide the globe into the ring and then attach the other arms, but remember, you now have to hold the globe in the air while you do it.

Frustrating assemly, but I have to admit it looks good when complete. Great light output.

Definitely a 6-beer job.

Prior to purchasing this light,I checked out many web sites and also visited quite a few stores. I wanted the best price. This light fixture was, for us, the best choice. Not only price wise but visually as well. I wanted a mission style light but one that also looked contemporary (a challenge to say the least). We are very pleased w/this light. We have it in our foyer, right before you enter our living room. It doesn't give off a lot of light but we weren't looking for that,especially in the foyer. We opted for the two bulb light versus the three bulb. It looks exactly as represented in the photo. We are very happy w/our purchase. I would definately recommend it.

Gave better light than expected. Looks great. I put a pair by my stove area, and they are the only light sourse for cooking. What a difference over the florescent lights I replaced. I did inquire about how the light would be in comparison to the florescent, but never heard back from the site, so just took a chance and ordered them. Very happy.

It is just the right size and looks beautiful over the center of our outside front door. I am delighted with the way this fixture looks on our house. (We have a two story French Provincial house that has a Mansared Roof). The fixture is light weight and easy to assemble. The fixture arrived very quickly after I ordered it -- using normal shipping. I use a "dawn to dusk" sensor attachment (a separate purchase) between the fixture and a plain white light bulb. So, although I keep the light switch in the "on" position all the time, the light automatically comes on at night and shuts off at daybreak -- and the bulb doesn't extend down too far, even with the sensor attachment. Our previous fixture was broken during a storm and I couldn't get the same one. But, I like the way this new fixture looks on our house even more than I liked the previous fixture. This Woodside Hills model fixture is a classic and the glass gives-off a lovely glow.

Item arrived in good condition. There is a slight twist - the 3 light fixtures are not perfiectly aligned and when the flutes are attached there is a visible difference in orientation that is not easily fixed by gentle pressure due to the stiffness and strength of the metal components. I little more attention to quality control at the factory is needed. Only a perfectionist would notice the malalignment which I estimate to be about 5 degrees between each component.

I am very pleased with my lighting, "The Fusion Collection, semi-flush". Unfortunately, when I received it in a very prompt matter, there were several glass pieces which were broken in the shipment. I just called the Company and explained to them and within 3-4 days, I had a new set of the glass inserts which were packed extremely well and NO BROKEN PIECES!! I would order from this company without hesitation; there product is great and so is their service. It's hard to find goo products and service at the same place but they did it.

This bowl pendant is just gorgeous!! The photo does it no justice. The size is perfect and the quality is top notched. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to compliment their contemporary home or looking for something that is stylish yet simple. The price is the lowest I found online and the assembly is simple.

I had to wait longer than the initial time frame given but it was worth the wait. I think it was just right for my house. I wondered if it would seem too big for the space but it is so graceful that it works beautifully. I have it on a dimmer so it has a wide variety of light level options. Elegant but understated.

This is the second time I have ordered from this site. They have the best selection and great prices. The customer service was fabulous. I ordered 4 of these sconces and mounted them on either side of two mirrors in my bathroom. They are heavy and great looking.
