I ordered this little cutie for a friend who loves pigs.When it arrived and I took it out of the box I was a little worried because the entire top on the pig's back is open and I was afraid that would make the light harsh.No problem.When you hook it up[mine came with a bulb-but I ordered an extra just in case]and turn it on,the light is a soft,glowy darling shade of pink.This little piggy lamp is perfect to tuck into a corner or on a shelf,where you want just a touch of light.The lamp is sturdy and well made.Shipping was quick and the lamp was in perfect condition.My friend loves her piggy lamp and wants the website for Lighting Universe.I will shop with this company again!

I was disappointed in this product. The base of the lamp online looks like a lime green and that's what I was looking for. However, when I received it, it was a hunter green and the lamp shade was very flimsy with stripes on it that did not match the rest of my furniture. You could not see the colors in the shade from the picture. I bought two of these lamps and had to return both of them. Am waiting for my refund. I was sorry I had purchased them.

I have three of these in my solarium. First one was hard to assemble (learning curve), but thereafter pretty easy. They're functional as side/coffee tables and the bright colors make the solarium a happier place.

I REALLY love it!!!
However, my personal taste required that I purchase a frosted hurricane lamp chimney to place between the bulb and the shade in order to diffuse the light more evenly. It's a great lamp to create just enough light to give a wonderful mood to a room. I love the versatility of being able to shape the form to accommodate whatever your individual preferences might be. It should indeed satisfy a wide range of decorative styles.

Though assembly takes about one minute, there were no instructions and frankly, probably not needed by 95%....but some might find them helpful. The table is attractive, sturdy, and exactly as pictured. Very good table particularly for the price.

This is such a cute light for a teenager's room. I like the way you can flex the angle to suit your needs. My daughter actually has a low celing (cape cod roof) and it fit in there perfectly. Ideal for someone who is trying to bring color and style into a room. Very cute ensemble. Highly recommend.
