Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful sophisticated looking fixture. But unfortunately there is a seam where the silk overlaps. It's not obvious when dark but when it's turned on, the seam casts shadow. There's nowhere to totally hide it since it's a round pendant light hanging in the air.

The Cirque Round ceiling fixture was actually much better looking in person than in the photos. I love it. The glass casing makes it look more elegant and expensive than I anticipated, but also makes the fixture heavy. It is still plenty light to lift, but it should be installed carefully and could surprise someone by its heaviness when changing lamps.

Product is misleading. This can not be bent past a 36" radius as described on the rail. In reality it will only stay at a 48"+ radius. So be careful when planning out your design.

Love the pendants. The Lighting Universe salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped me identify all the items I'd need to get these to work. Items arrived on time as promised.

The instructions on attaching the lights could be improved. While one screw needs to be tightened, if you over-tighten the other screw, you risk puncturing the wire in the cord and the lights will not work. This requires cutting the cord and trying again - if you have multiple pendants, you could end up with cords of different lengths!

Highly recommend the lights!

We had the monorail lighting installed about 3 years ago. We have had only problems with the pendants since that time. We have had to replace 3 of them, largely due to the fact the lights burn so hot that the socket gets "out of shape" and the bulbs will not make the proper connection. We never know from day to day whether all of the lights will be working or not. It is very frustrating, especially since we love the light the pendants give out.

I do a lot of lighting design for my clients, but these particular lights were purchased for my own home. We love the product, look great. However directions were less than adequate. I hung the monorail and transformer and then one light. Before hanging the rest I tried it out only to have the transformer fuse blow. We tried everything only failing. Then the next day upon calling for technical help we were told we had to at least have two lights hanging in order to not trip the breaker. That should have been in the directions. We wasted a couple hours trying to figure out what we did wrong.

I love this elegant light. This is the second new home we have put 3 of the large pendant lights above our kitchen island, and a grouping of the mini pendants over our dining table. We get a lot of compliments on how beautiful they are. Totally satisfied with these pendants.

This is a well built and attractive fixture that looks much more expensive than the price. Glass is heavy and opaque enough that light is evenly diffused and you don't see the outline of the bulb as you do in cheaper fixtures. Be aware that the base requires a 4" octagonal or square box. If you live in an older home (as I do), some of your ceiling boxes may be smaller. With a small 40watt bulb, the fixture doesn't output a great deal of light, but it was perfect for my application.

I scooted the shade up the cable that suspends it from the ceiling to change the bulb. The bulb is very hard to get into the slot. After several attempts at inserting the bulb the cable snapped and the shade went crashing to the floor, smashing into a million pieces.

We really like the design of this pendant light in that it has two layers of glass, so that you do not see just a bulb inside the beautiful outter layer because it is hidden inside a smaller white glass pendant. This allows the outer layer to be see through as opposed to being lined with white glass.

these lights were the finishing touch on my kitchen. I have IKEA cabinets with satin nickel pulls and Uba Tuba Granite. Found these pendants in a high end light store and found them at lighting universe for a SALE price. My kitchen could not look better, I love the ambience that the pendants on a dimmer bring to the kitchen. I spent 1500 for 5 pendants and canopies and I am glad that I did not purchase a lesser quality light.

The pyramid lights are the icing on my new kitchen. One thing to be aware of: When ordering make sure that you buy three separate lights (if you have three separate boxes in the ceiling) or the three lights that come as a trio and are connected to one box. I had to return the latter because my electrician already had prepared three separate boxes, an arrangement that is more expensive. The lights add that luxury note to my live-in kitchen. They are worth the price.

The chandelier looks great! However the nipple for the sloped ceiling adapter was too long, so we had to get another piece for it at a local lighting store. The light also require different size alan wrenches to install. Recommend you have someone who knows what they're doing for the install, cause some expertise was definately needed.

I used 4 inch electric (remodel) cans for the installation of three pendants. The Freejack canopy is 4 inches also. The manufacture of the canopy probably should have made the canopy diameter slightly larger so as to fit over the electric cans in the ceiling. I did end up sanding the edge of the electric cans (plastic) to accommodate the size of the canopy. Nice material and of good quality.

Beautiful flush mounted light that doesn't make the ceiling seem low and gives off the perfect amount of light. This fixture is very,very heavy so requires appropriate support. Also, don't lose that little allen wrench or you will never be able to change bulb. One always wishes manufacturers would NOT use oddball tools like this to put together their products.

This light comes with a 1x3x1 transformer which needs to be placed in the junction box along with the wires and wire nuts. It's a tight fit if you are working with a 4" box. It gets even tighter if you are daisy chaining these lights.
They are worth the effort though. The glass fixture is solid and gorgeous. Once you get the wiring complete the rest is a snap. Cut the guide wire to your needed length and plug it in. You will love this light.

This base is a very efficient may to mount the Tech Lights directly onto line voltage - without having to use a track and the voltage adaptor. There is a little "cube" which reduces the voltage to 12 V. But you do need to mount this cube inside the box, so it won't work with a "pancake" box. The stainless finish is very nice and the base fixture is short and trim. Shortening the (hanging) cable is a bit complex and not very intuitive, well - the shortening part is easy enough, but connecting the cable to the 12 V power source took a couple attempts before we figured it out. All-in-all a great fixture; we are very happy with it!

This manufacturer's product has a nice high end look although I did think they were a bit pricey. ($12 for a tiny little plastic end cap ???). It is well made from what I can tell. I got these lights for basement bedroom/family room because I wanted to add a dimmer. These are great quality and look nice. As others have mentioned, pretty heavy. Wasn't as bright as I had hoped, but I probably just don't know how much light these bulbs generally give off. Two fixtures are OK for this 12x18 room, but it isn't super bright. My only complaint was with wiring. Both light bulbs have two wires, so you have to connect 2 hot wires to the black wire and two neutral to the white. It's a pain putting wire nuts on two small stranded wires while holding a 5 pound fixture. They should have combined these internally.

This is a low voltage head that has a lot of moving parts. There are so many places that can fail. I have replaced two of the heads in 2 years. The lamps are so simple to replace if you are familiar with the fixture, but most maintenance personnel are not, and end up damaging the head trying to remove the lamp. Pretty fixture, but high maintenance down the road.

I bought several of these lights for our indoor jewelry display booth last year. I am very satisfied with the lights and their versatility in where they can be mounted. We mount ours overhead on the frame of our booth display and they work great. I highly recommend them.
