I hate to overreacte but this lamp color can only be described as gross. It may look as pictured when lit but to look at it unlit, it is an aweful color and very milky and has ugly matt finish - it's disgusting. I don't think that someone who loves super earthy looking things would even like it. I returned it.

I ordered the Sandy color which was portrayed as a beautiful amber-like pendant. Not even CLOSE. It's a dull light brown solid color, nothing like the picture. I returned them immediately.

I have 2 of these lights over my kitchen island. I have them on dimmers and they look great!
The 9 feet of cord helped because I have high ceilings and needed 7' of cord for the electrician to hang them.

This chandelier was more beautiful seeing it in person. It's like having a piece of artwork over the table. One thing I would recommend is installing this with a dimmer switch. It gives off beautiful light, but can be rather bright at times. I would recommend this for every dining room!

I installed two multi-light pendants (3 lights in each group) over the two sinks in our master bath. They look great and we have had several very positive comments from guests. The sub-assembly of putting the fixtures together and cutting the wires was time consuming. Especially, stripping the wires.

The lights arrived exactly the way that they look in the picture on the website. Each one is alittle different because of the gemstones used--the ones that I received had more green in them than I expected, but it worked with the space I was doing. They are in an area where kids will be and they love them. When turned on, they do make a colored pattern on the wall. They were easy to install.

We are very pleased with this chandelier. My husband (who was originally skeptical when we ordered in online) and I have been looking for a dining room chandelier for at least 5 years and could never find one that we liked (or at least not in our price range), until we came upon this chandelier on your website. We ordered several lightsfrom this model series for our newly remodeled kitchen. They look great. an electrician installed them so we don't know if it was easy or not. But it didn't seem to take very long. The single light is over the sink and adds just the splash of color (sapphire blue) we were looking for and plenty of light for working there.

We have three of these rose-swirled lights hanging over our peninsula in the kitchen. They are so beautiful and practical (actually illuminate a nice area). Everyone who visits comments on how beautiful they are. The only thing I was disappointed in is that the bottom edge is not quite even, but I think this is the nature of the hand blown glass.

The chandelier is really nice looking and was simple to install, however, using the standard, regular 60 watt lightbulbs stick out beyond the glass fixtures, which makes it look odd. Need to find flat top bulbs, similar to the shape of flood light bulbs in order to avoid this odd look so buyer beware using special light bulbs for this light fixture.

The Chandelier is beautiful. We were amazed at how well it was packed for shipping. Not one bump or bruise, it was packed so securely. It had more than enough wiring and chain and we were surprised that they even shipped a set of bulbs with it. I would highly recommend this or any ELK Lighting product (but not to my friends... A fixture purchased a few weeks later from a different lighting source was much lower in quality. We give it two thumbs up. It's contemporary, yet transitions well with many styles, including transitional. Very nice!

I absolutely love the fixture now that it is up. My husband and I tried to install it ourselves. As we've done many over the past 35 yrs we didnt anticipate any problems. As it turns out we had to hire an electrician to hang the fixture because the screws supplied with the fixture were not long enough to catch the fixture from the box in the ceiling.

I was disappointed when these lights arrived--the predominant color is a "flame orange". They are also large (could have done with two instead of three). My husband liked them, I didn't hate them, just thought they were okay. They are growing on me as they have been hanging for about 2 weeks now. They are definitely different--you won't walk into many homes with them. The blown glass is very different on all three lights, but I like that aspect. I just wish they were a little more "multi-colored" and a little less orange.

These lights are gorgeous with their individual look. Due to the hand blown nature, there are differences in the coloring - which I love but if this bothers you, you'll want to choose something else. I installed them myself - and I'm not good at these things. They look beautiful.

The lamp received did not come close to the on pictured. Although I and the electrician did not need instruction the ones included were illegible. It was missing a strap and the screws were too short. Had to go to the hardware store to purchase 20 cents worth of parts to install a $300 lamp. What a deal!

The light fisture is very beautiful, however the long crystal pendants in the middle are not all the same length so the light does not look the same as the picture. It would be better if they were all the same lenght. We also purchased 3 other light fixtures and we had the same issues.

I opened the box and looked at the finish and was shocked. I went back to the picture to compare, the fixture I got had a heavy, glopey, flat brown paint substance over the entire thing. This was considered "antiqued". There was no reflection or glow left to the metal. I have done some metal work and know that there are substances available that react w/ the metal to create patina which is what I would have expected for what for me was a reasonably expensive light. Otherwise it was a really unique light.

My wife and I looked at hundreds of chandeliers before agreeing on this one. We have sort of an beachy/art deco theme going in our our home, and this seemed to satisfy that. We got the blueish carribean glass which really looks great (you have to search other site to see what it looks like though). Installation was ok, be prepared to have some help with holding while you connect the wires. My wife says the design reminds her of the fortress of solitude. Works for me!

The lights are nice, but after taking them out of the box and putting them up they are a very small, and the globes are darker than I expected them to be. For a 60 watt bulb, they really do not put out much light. Also, we have noticed that the cord is turning black, hopefully they will not burn out.

Lights are mounted high in the corner of a 15 foot tall ceiling between archlam exposed beams. We replaced the typical bulbs with 60-100 WATT equivalent CF bulbs for longer life. They are used primarily as "accent" lights. On set is a blue color and give off a light that is not really conducive to reading, but that wasn't our purpose. We also have a set of red pendants in this style as well, and again if your purpose is some kind of task lighting, these are not the fixtures for you. But great for accent lighting. Wish we could show you a picture of the installation!

The chandelier is just as pictured--an excellent artistic design, but it is not a symmetrical design (which i like) but ours hung a little crooked. However, it has an adjustable hook on the top which helps. One arm was slightly bent, but I was able to bend it back pretty well so it looks good enough. Also, two of the glass globes are tight and one is loose and we have to readjust it if we knock the light slightly.
However, all in all I like it and would order it again; I'm just not sure it arrived in good enough shape that I'd recommend it to a friend without reservations.

I am very pleased with my kitchen chandelier. It did however have a slight bend in the metal which holds one of the glass globes, my husband wanted to send it back, but it still works and isn't that noticable. I opted to keep it. It also came without one silver washer part that holds the globe in place. I called the company and they are sending me a new one.

Very nice looking, had to find a smaller light bulb to fit in it. The normal size bulbs just stuck out from the bottom and took your eyes away from the pendant and made you stare at the bulb. Now it is fixed and I love it!

Please read the following before purchasing:

1) The specs for the fixture show a length of 43" but it is actually 40". Both your web site and ELK's web site show the same dimensions so I'm sure you got them from ELK. Three inches doesn't seem like much but it my application it mattered.
2) The glass is darker than it appears on the Lighting Universe web site. It isn't a problem for me but could be for somebody else so I recommend that potential buyers check it on ELK's site first to be sure you like it.
3) Lighting Universe's price is AWESOME compared to local stores, but when compared to other manufacturer's price, ELK is high. I just don't see the ELK product being of any greater quality than lower-priced fixtures from other manufacturers.

Overall, the light is nice and was exactly the style I was looking to put in my kitchen.

These are lovely, friendly pendants. They would work well in a variety of settings. We installed ours in our restaurant (4 single pendants over the counter, 1 multi-pendant over the register). They have beautiful markings, while still emitting a lot of light -- as most of glass is white. The cord is adjustable to whatever height you like. I recommend this product!

Pretty light, that is at an excellent price point. The actual lights are lighter (whiter) in color then shown in the pictures, but still attractive. They are hand made, so there is significant variation between them. You have to be ready for this. You might want to even consider ordering a couple of extras, keeping the ones you like the most, and returning the others due to the variation in appearance. They could be brighter. If you put in a full 60w light, they do OK in terms of counter/table lighting, but you start to get a bright spot through the glass. If you put in a lower wattage bulb, then they look prettier, but may be too dim. They use candelabra bulbs, which somewhat limits your bulb options, and may not work with some bulbs which will not work if they are installed base up. Try to look for frosted bulb options, as these seem to work the best. Despite comments, still think they are an excellent value.

As pretty as the picture and just what I had in mind. The chandelier arrived in excellent condition due to the clever packaging/shipping materials. One of three candle covers were missing however I requested a replacement via Live Chat on the website and received it within the week. The most difficult aspect of this purchase was deciding on which chandelier I liked best for the space intended.

This lighting is very artsy and beautiful. I love it and get lots of complements! My only problem is that because it is above a range, we had to hang it higher and the bulb was very hard to install in the one with the shortest cord.
I have it on a dimmer light and recommend that!

Received this light today and I'm very disappointed. The lady at the store called the manufacturer to make sure that it didn't need to be polished but now that I see it, there's a gold tarnish-like hue to the whole lamp. There are also many pits on the bases of the glasses. Very poorly made. the concept is great but the materials are cheap and greatly lacking.
