The light in the picture looks like it has a solid but rippled enclosure. In actuality each ripple is a separate rod. You get them in a stack and then have to build the fixture yourself. It is somewhat pretty but not at all what this picture shows. In addition the fixture stands out 4" from the wall so it is really big.

This item was supposed to have a silver wash on it. There is no silver whatsoever! It is completley bronze. It is a pretty fixture but I would not purchase it again and especially not if it needed to go with any silver in your home.

The design is extremely interesting and a little on the light-hearted side. We've placed the lights on a porch designed for 3-season sitting and entertaining. The materials and finish are of quality - important since we're just off the ocean. Workmanship is just above average. Bottom line: the wife is very pleased, what more can I say!

I am a designer that works for a company that flips homes, in these crazy economic times. I have particular budgets for each property, the style and value of this lamp is exceptional!! FYI: This is not brushed aluminum, it is silver paint on textured particle board. Mostly it looks fine, but the paint was a little worn off in some areas. Biggest issue was with PACKING tape that criss-crossed the front and left residue. How to remove without ruining paint? Lori at ATG was very helpful -- she called the manufacturer who suggested Goo Gone for the residue. Will try this and let you know the result.

I put this light on a stairway and because the walls are narrower than a room, the light dancing off the walls from the crystals are beautiful. It's made very well.

What a difference a post light can make to your landscape. The product was very easy to assemble - went up without a hitch and changed the whole complexion of our front yard. it adds panache and elegance without the cheese factor for "themed" lighting
Working with Lighting Universe was very easy and my only complaint was a few quality issues with the washer and a few of the materials used in the light - could have been assembled better from factory but overall very pleased

Out of (4) of these lights that I ordered, three of them came in broken. (1) was due to poor handling at UPS. The other two must have been broken before they left the plant, because the boxes were in good shape.

The only problem is that one of the larger fixtures does not fit properly in the metal rim (ring). Was out of town when it was installed so did not see it immediately. Otherwise, I couldn't be more satisfied and have received countless compliments.

I was looking for something different and unique for my foyer and I found it in this light! I have yet to see this light or anything similar to it in another home or store. I wanted something with personality and class, formal yet casual... the perfect fit for my home. If this describes what you are looking for defiantly consider this lighting choice. The only thing is I wish I could find a ceiling fan for my adjacent living room with the same glass light bowl.

After trying the Goo Gone, I can still see the tape residue. The product was ruined by the way it was packaged by the manufacturer. Now it is discontinued, so I am out of luck. Beware of this product made by Triarch International!!

Love this light fixture! We just assembled it late last night and put it in our newly completely renovated home. I had purchased it for a bathroom but put it in the front entrance hallway! It looks like a expensive fixture and was very easy to assemble. You can adjust the height to various positions and looks very contemporary. Very 'square' looking, but that is completely what I loved about it. All parts were perfect in shipping this as well!

This light is beautiful - the problem is that once you turn it on, the light that radiates out is a dark, yellow light. Even with 150 watt equivalent compact flourescent bulbs, I can't read a book in the room that I have this light in without a lamp on.

The light fixture has issues with bulbs burning out. It is a halogen fixture but has a design flaw. The little covers that go over the bulb do not allow the heat to escape therefore one bulb was burned out after a week and the next bulb after about 10 days so I have already spent $20.00 on new bulbs. We will see how they last.

The box arrived crushed and upon opening I found 2 of the globes missing and the top part crushed a couple of inches. I filed a damage report with the trucking company and contacted the chandelier manufacturer and have been promised a new chandelier.
Supposedly one has been re-sent and I am awaiting its arrival.

Last year we ordered two sconces for our front porch. The globe to one of the sconces was shattered and we were sent a replacement immediately. We did have a problem with a support rod with one of the sconces which was too short. We ordered a replacement designating the size, but it was also two short. Although the external look of sconces match, the internal structure of the left sconce was entirely different from the internal structure of the right sconce. The sconces do look fantastic on our house. We get many complements. This year I ordered a matching hanging light for on our porch.

Last year we purchased the outdoor lion sconces so this year we decided to get the coordinating pendant light. The light is beautiful, shipped on time and no damage. Also, no instructions! When I contacted Lighting Universe the individual on live chat was very courteous and helpful, however the manufacturer alleged that this is the only product that they did not have instructions, but would get them to us in an hour or two. That was a Friday afternoon. We received the instructions the following Tuesday. Fortunately, Jim was able to get the light up without them; however, I'm certain that some time would have been saved if we had instructions.

Looks nice... just don't look too closely. Build quality could be better, but then again once they are hung they'll only be exposed to occasional dusting and bulb replacement.

The included screws to fasten the connector plate to my electrical box were the wrong size, but I was able to use my old ones (I have an old house, so you may not have this problem). Although the connector plate has many slots for installation, I still had to drill a hole in the connector plate so that it could be installed properly. Not hard, just frustating when trying to do this duing the kids nap time.

This works very well on my sailboat - wide bottom, and give off a lot of light with the 60 watt bulb - and I can use a 40 watt buld when on my own power to conserve a bit. Much better lighting than the overheads.

I am using these very different (which I like) directional lights in my kitchen. One directed at a hanging plant and the other directed at a portion of counter top. We were amazed at the amount of light they produce. I liked the look so well that I purchased the double light for over my window/sink to match. I get compliments on the unique pair all the time.
Would recommend to anyone who likes out of the ordinary.
