The light is relatively good. It produces a nice light, although it is expensive. The comparable light output is not as good as much cheaper fluorescent fixtures. It is very cool, though.

This light is bright enough for accent lighting but not for task lighting in a kitchen. Also if you need to hard wire it that will be extra.

Not enough light for our kitchen, I should have ordered a 4 tube. I will move this one to the laundry room and order a 4 tube. The newer smaller T8 bulbs are not as bright. The quality could be better, but it works. It looks very nice and the light comes out the sides. It does not look just look like a box.

Gorgeous. We expected the gold to be a car-like metallic gold, but it's more like glowing butterscotch. Better than what we'd hoped for. Beware: the bulbs are now meant to last long. Buy some spares.

Feels pretty unsubstantial for the price. But, since it is light the mounting with double sided tape is secure. It is small and lights up a small undercabinet space well with no heat given off.

I was totally disappointed with this item when I opened the box. It looked so beautiful online, but when I saw it, I got a little depressed because I was so excited about it when I ordered it. The color online was the cherry wood I was looking for, but it looked completely diferent when I got it. So, I will be returning it, sorry.

I was a bit concerned because a previous review stated there was no opening in the back for the wires to come in. Jeeze Louise, I just punched out one of the several slugs intended for that purpose, and my husband and I had it installed in 5 minutes. Looks great, too.

This Montrose sconce looks like a much more expensive fixture. It has classic lines and gives a soft light through the shade. I especially liked that the bulb is completely hidden from view, which is not always the case with sconces.

I am enjoying the extra light that these undercounter lights have given me especially in the bathroom where I keep the light on at night to light the way. They were easy to install, and are vitually unseen unless you peek under the cabinets. the light they give is sufficient for using appliances in the kitchen. I recommend them very highly

They say brass base, but it is just a stick on tape to look like brass. The lights are expensive and cheap materials are used. I paid an extra $100.00 for shipping, because they are hand made and would take weeks to be made and delivered?

This is a nice fixture but the ballast is poorly situated where that when mounting it to a 3-inch ceiling box (rather than a typical 4-inch box) the screw holes are partially blocked resulting in a tricky and problematic installation.

The second I installed my Bilboa in my vanity it emitted a nasty hum, 120Hz to be exact. After a bit of research, I suspected the ballast, and after some convincing, ATG rep had the mfgr. send me a replacement ballast by a different maker. I performed the transplant and the patient was happy...No buzzing! I was happy too, finally liberated from that noise every time I walked in my bath. Other tips: Ensure a 6-8" clearance from the top of unit to your ceiling for screwing top in. Also, the necessary bulbs (F25T8, I think) are not common, I had to order mine online.

We bought an old house and there was a nonfunctional light over the lavatory. There is no outlet for hairdryer or shaver. Incandescent bulb was poor. Choices at Home Depot were sketchy. The light we got came quickly, was easy to install, and works well. My wife says it looks very "retro" in this 1936 house.

Got this fluorescent light fixture for my Dad's bathrooms. I bought the one that uses one 40 watt linear tube fluorescent light; the bulb is inexpensive and commonly available. My Dad likes the chrome, the simplicity of the design, and ease of finding replacement bulbs. I like it because it provides lots of light (equal to a 150 watt incandescent bulb), saves money on your electric bill, and comes on instantly unlike most fluorescent lights that flicker for a few seconds before turning on. While I wish I could have paid less than $104 for this fixture, I know it will eventually pay for itself in energy savings. Also, this fixture is almost impossible to find in stores, and hard to find on the internet. Lighting Universe shipped the fixtures for free; they were very well-packaged and arrived sooner than expected. They also kept in touch about the status of my order through e-mails and I could track my order at any time. A very positive buying experience, would buy from again!

The light looks fine when it is up. That's the only reason that I would recommend the light. A flush mount fluorescent light that looks good has been hard for me to find. The construction was poor because the corners were not seamed tightly together. The cover for the light was not of a very high quality. UPS looked like they had drug the box behind the truck. The light cover was all dented in. I had to use the heat from a blow dryer to mold it back into shape. Overall, it looks fine now that it is up. It does put off good light. So if you've got the money and this is what you need, then it is an OK light.

I like the fixture. Had trouble with breakage in shipping. 2 fixtures, 2 broken lenses, 1 broken bulb connector. Very happy with the speed of the replacement lenses. Did not receive replacement for bulb connection so I fixed it with screws to hold it in place.

Found these and they replaced some ancient versions in my 1904 cottage. Installation was pretty straight forward, though it would be handy to have had the type of ballast clearly called out! Some switches are not compatible! The units give good light and the outlets have turned out to be useful too!

I am pleased with it; however, it flashes once in awhile like a flash of lightening when not in use.
I wish the chrome portion were white enamel paint because of rust in a bathroom from showering/humidity. I would buy another one.
If the off/on switch were push button instead of a round knob that would be better because you hit the painted wall turning the switch off/on. I miss the push button switch. Should have kept the one from the old light and put it on this light.

I recently converted a 9' 6" x 11'6" bedroom into a sewing studio/office and used 4 of these lighting fixtures. They are switched with 2 units on a each switch. The lighting is awesome for the close detail and color definition that is needed. There is no shadowing as the light also reflects off the white ceiling because of the wrap around shape. I am very pleased with this fixture. It's only downside is the plastic end caps are not easy to align and fit onto the lenses.

I was so ecstatic when I found this light! The brushed nickel finish and clean lines were perfect for the look I wanted, so I ordered 2. However, 1 arrived with a broken bulb, and a replacement CFL has been IMPOSSIBLE to find! Most other CFLs I've seen have the glass tubing part coming out the top of the base part, then spiraling up and around. This fixture's CFL has glass tubing that actually comes out of the base's SIDE, takes a hard horizontal turn to hug the side, then goes up to spiral around. Home improvement stores, specialty light shops, the internet, & even a commercial lighting contractor have turned up nothing for a year. I haven't hung up either light -- they're just sitting in a closet -- which makes me sad because I love them. Had I known in advance the difficulty (impossibility?) of getting replacement bulbs, I wouldn't've bought this fixture to start with. Hence, I gave it decent product attribute ratings, but just 1 star overall :(

I bought four of these. I had three mounted vertically in the main bath and they look very striking like that. It is nice horizontally too. They are silent and instant on/off as advertised. My only complaint is that the bulbs needed to be replaced within 5 months and it was hard finding the right sized bulb. My contractor had to buy some from a supplier that only sells to industry types and their light is not as nice as the light from the ones that came with the fixtures. So I'm rating it a bit lower on value, but otherwise I thought they were well-priced.

With the move toward energy saving lights, I thought that I'd give this fluorescent fixture a try when I renovated my bedroom. The fixture is very beautiful, handsome red toned wood and the plastic diffusers give the appearance of frosted glass. Brightness has been a problem, the bulbs take a few minutes to reach full brightness after turning them on and even at peak are still a little dimmer than I'd like. I added some accent lighting in the bedroom and am doing OK. I have a warm (2700K) color temp bulb, the whiter bulb gives more light but is not good for a bedroom. This fixture has 3 bulbs, I would not consider the two bulb model.

Great light, but very hard to install. I bought the only piece I thought I needed extra, which was a tiny plastic connector for 10.00, but when my electrician came today he could not put it up because there was no "box" to connect it to. I ended up running to Lowes and getting a different light.
I still plan to use this but will have to plug it in to use it elsewhere. It gives off decent light, it is eco friendly, and does look very cool.

The only caution I would point out, it that due to the amber colored fixture cover (diffuser), this fixture only puts out a soft warm light, unlike other 2' x 4' four lamp ceiling fixtures. It is very pretty installed.

These exterior wall scones are very unique in design and appearance and should be functional for many years. The instalation of the lights is another matter. The mounting brackets that the vendor provides are to wide for the face plate of the fixture. They extend 1/16" on either side of the mounting plate not allowing the face plate of the fixture to fit snugly against the wall. My Electrician got them as close to flush as possiable and then he caulked around the face plate.
Just wanted others to be aware in the event you have to hire someone to install them for you... it will take a while to mount them so they look good.

It boggles me that this light could cost what it does. All the parts couldn't cost more than $15.00.... You'll be able to buy this in a year for $30.00.
But it'll last forever and uses little power.

The Iris Sconce is beautiful. The pair of them on either side of the garage door is quit elegent looking. Plenty of light to light up the driveway. Energy efficient bulds are a plus for these lights.
The biggest problem comes when you try to install them using the mounting brackets provided. They are wider then the fixture and stick out each side by 1/16". Thus the face plate of the fixture is not "flush" with the wall. We had to caulk around them which looks fine.

Fixture looks great in our kitchen. Only issue is the frame is a bit bendable, so you must be careful when handling it. It also needed to be screwed up to the ceiling in order to keep the light from showing through between the fixture and the ceiling. This was easily accomplished.
