I ordered the round one, and they sent me the square; I don't know if it is worth the hassle of going through the process to get the right one.

The fixture looks nice, though, and I think the price was good too.

I really like the looks of this lantern. It is one of the few fairly contemporary pieces without a lot of ornamental parts. The wiring display in the directions was positioned sideways instead of in the erect position, but the directions were still correct. The fixture appears a little wobbly where it attaches to the cap that covers the post. Look good!

Love this light - has a very high end look, at a relatively reasonable price. I could not find something similar in my local lighting store searches. I purchased the cosmopolitan semi-flush mount in brushed nicked. Received in under a week.

Note, someone else assembled, so I am guessing at the instructions.

I was looking for black bathroom fixtures, and was unable to find anything in black at any local or box-type store. This fixture is perfect - it fits the space just right, it's simple and just what I was looking for. The only drawback is that I would have picked different shades. Fixture has the look I wanted, but assembly is flimsy. Mounting screws were too long for the fixture. Extra holes and heavier wall anchors were required to hold it up. Threads on one of the lights had a flaw making it almost impossible to attach the globe. Paint chipped with the adjustment of the arms.

After many attempts, fixture is now straight, secure and all globes attached. This would have been expected of a $25 fixture, but not for $85.

The glass and base of the light look wonderful. The 'chains' look good, but we broke one when hanging them. Turns out that they are some plastic type material; very thin and easily broken. They don't hold any weight however, so we just super glued it back together.

I replaced two 20 year-old hall light fixtures with the
144-6-SF - Nikko Semi-Flush Mount lights and am delighted with the results. They are pretty, go with my new contemporary decor, and yet are not obtrusive. I had them professionally installed so cannot attest to ease of assembly and installation but the contractor who put them in seemed to have no trouble whatsoever. The fixtures work beautifully in my hallways.

I love this petite table lamp. It is in our newly renovated kitchen on top of our antique cupboard. It adds such a lovely glow at night with all the other lights off. Good quality and pretty colors of gold, green and bronze. Love the bronze finish. Also like that it takes a simple nightlight bulb, available at all stores.

The hardware that this comes with is terrible - none of the threads matched so I had to use teflon tape to hold it together, which only worked for about 20 minutes. I then had to go to Home Depot to get new hardware with proper threading and hang the light using their parts, which made the light closer to the ceiling than desired. The only reason I didn't send it back is because of the shipping hassle and we needed a light right away.

I bought this particular fixture to match the glass in a flush mount ceiling light in my family room. The glass matches the other lamp almost exactly. This billiard table fixture also directs more light up to the ceiling than a solid shade lamp and that helps illuminate my large room as well so it worked out great. Looks awesome over my new table too. The only con I saw was there were several scratches on the shades from shipping - they could be packaged better for shipment but the scratches are barely noticeable and not worth the hassle or a return. All in all, I am very pleased and would recommend this fixture. A great value too for the money.
