This fixture DOES NOT hang horizontally. The glass shades sag. The quality was OK. What did I expect for $40? I expected the style that the photo showed! I will be returning it.

Item was shipped promptly and well packaged. Although product quality is good, the screws included for attaching the lens cover to the main housing were too short, and I had to supply my own and cut them to length.

My husband and I put this up in about 10 or 15 minutes. It transformed the look of the room and for a GREAT price. This is absolutely perfect for a breakfast room. We did buy a similar chandelier in the "rubbed oil" that was not as dark as this one. This one almost appears black in some light, but it still looks nice. Keep in mind that the light bulbs point down and that it creates a very bright light as it has three bulbs and they are not pointing up to disfuse the light. Once again, this didn't bother us a bit, but might be a concern for some.

My husband and I put this up. We had to pull on the arms holding the globes to adjust them as they were not perfectly straight, but for $60, you can't really expect it to be perfect. It transformed the look of our room and for an excellent price. It is VERY bright as the light bulbs point down and not up, so keep this in mind, most point up and disfuse the light a bit, this one does not, but we didn't mind it.

This chandelier is the perfect mix of traditional style with clean modern lines. I absolutely love it! Installation was fairly easy, just three standard wires to connect, and ta-da - done! The hardest part was removing our old fixture. I also recommend these modern drum-shaped clip shades to finish the look (Part #: 1776160). This chandelier looks great, is high quality, shipped quick, and was a great value. I will definitely shop Lighting Universe again for all my lighting needs - thanks LightingUniverse.com!

The design was horrible. There is NO WAY that you could align the holes and connect the bottem & top once it was installed and you had to change the light bulb. The screws stick out of the top so they're visable - which I didn't like but would have been ok if they would have gone together easily. It took me 30 minutes to get them connected and the screws would eventually be stripped out from cramming them together.

I ordered the lamp thinking it was more of a white color, it has to much gray.
I wanted to return it but I was out of town for a month was not able to return with
in the 30 days. I will not recommend this company nor with I be buying other lamps for my home.

While I like the look of this lamp I think the design leaves alot to be desired. Very difficult to assemble because it barely fits together and the first time I tried to adjust the lamp it fell apart! If I had not already disposed of the packing I would send them back. I don't like to complain but this product design is flawed!

When I received my lights they did not look anything like the photo on the internet. They were completely unassembled and the paperwork was confusing. After installation, they are lovely however it took four trips to assorted hardware stores to find bulbs to fit. The bulb listed on the paperwork was incorrect.
For the price-they should have come ready to install.

My husband installed the lights at the top of the privacy fence around our spa. They fit in perfectly with the size of the fencing rail. The frosted glass is great, allowing more ambient light with a low wattage bulb. For parties, we simply increase the wattage for nighttime safety.

I'm very handy at installing this stuff.If you're not get someone who is.There was no instuctions(didn't need'em)& no template to mark where to drill the holes for the mounting screws(I made one).The screws for holding down the lid was is missing.I phoned the manufacturer & I'm still waiting over a week now for the replacements.

Neither the description nor the picture show that the edges along the top and the side of the sconce are painted unevenly with a gold accent. This touch really cheapens the apprearance and has led me to return the two sconces and post. Shipment was relatively quick. I received them two days after they had shipped. It had taken 5 days for them to be pulled to ship, and they arrived unbroken. I also appreciated that they were not packed in styrofoam.

We bought this light as a replacement. It looks very nice and it was shipped quickly and packaged very well. We are happy with it and are thinking about getting a second to replace our other light as well. It was not too expensive and the quality is fine for what we spent. I don't really like that I can see the bulb instructions when I am standing under the light. They probably could have just put them on the paper or smaller print higher up in the fixture, so they would be out of sight when the bulb was installed.

I read all the reviews before I purchased this and it had some chips in the paint that I had to cover with a permanant marker. I looked a little cheap. Another word of caution: don't buy two chandeliers to compare colors at home...simply because there is free shipping...I did this and the one I didn't want I had to pay $50 to ship it back.

But hubby thinks these won't provide enough light. Since we haven't moved in yet, we haven't seen them on at night.

The actual connection of the fixture to the ceiling is barely adequate aesthetically. It could surely be more substantial.

Don't expect a miracle. This is a nice looking fixture, but not of high quality. I would still recommend this web site and their products to friends. I wasn't looking to spend much, and I wasn't expecting high quality for what I paid, so this fixture worked for me. I am installing it under a portico, so it will be protected. And for this price, if it becomes shabby in a few years I can afford a new one!
