When I recieved the lamp, I was very disappointed..the felt underneath it was covered in dust..the lampshade was very dirty and the metal piece on the crown of the shade has a mark on it. It certainly wasn't a brand new lamp. It looked like it was on display and was shop worn.

Overall, this is a lovely stained glass sconce. It is especially beautiful when lit. However, when I first got it out of the package I wasn't so sure. The seams between the individual glass pieces and the attachment of the dragonfly wings are sloppy. But once on the wall, it is not noticeable. Installation was not hard, as the sconce just hangs on an enclosed bracket. The bracket is attached to the wall, but it seems the sconce could be knocked loose if bumped from the bottom.

A delightful addition to any room. This fixture adds a warmth to any room occupied or unoccupied. We have it mounted in the middle of our ktchen. Instead of the glaring 60 watt bulb we have a forty watt tubular bulb on a dimmer switch which permits you to adapt the mood of the lighting to the time of day or evening. Beautifully conceived, crafted and finely rendered. A great value for the price and a welcome addition to any home.

This lamp trumps the other accent pieces in our Victorian bedroom. It is just as beautiful on display as it is pictured online. Two caveats: (1) The lamp's post is not centered in the base. This does not present a problem in our case, since I rotated the narrow side of the base toward the back where it does not show. (2) The Lighting Universe web site says the lamp usually leaves the warehouse in 5-10 business days. The clock starts when Lighting Universe submits the order to the warehouse, not when you place your order online.

While lit the glass is more yellow, however they are absolutely green when the light isn't shining through. However, I think that is what makes this the perfect fixture. It is incredibly unique and exactly what we had been looking for. The craftsmanship is of the highest quality and the ORB finish is darker than what the picture portrays, which is exactly what we were looking for (I don't care for the browner ORB finish). The installation was simple and again the quality brilliant. Do be sure not to put in too high voltage lamps because the fixture does start to smell funny and the lamps burn out quickly. This is not a defect, but I found this out bcz I only had 70 watt lamps and the fixture wasn't rated for those. Anyhow, the lamps burned out the next day after I smelled an electrical burning. Now that I have the correct wattage they are fine. Just fyi..

I liked the lights I bought, however the workmanship if seen, I probaby would not have bought it. I do like them, but I think from now on I would rather see my product then take a chance on getting it through the internet. They shipped fast, and everything else was fine. We have never ordered an item like this over internet and felt we were taking a bit of a gamble. Pleasantly surprised at how accurately the photo and info reflected actual product.
It's assembly is a bit odd, requiring u to take apart more pieces than seems necessary to change the bulb, so we got those super long lasting bulbs hoping we won't have to deal with for years.

I was quite disappointed in the overall quality of this lamp. The stained glass work on the shade was not high quality. I am shocked it made it past any kind of quality control. In addition, the knob that attached the shade to the stand was improperly threaded. All in all NOT what I expected or paid for. I will definitely think a long time before buying from this manufacturer again.

This product was received extremely well packed and undamaged. It is now placed over our breakfast table in our sunroom and it is nothing short of beautiful. Before I found your website my wife and I had looked far and wide at various lamp shops for the item we needed but to no avail. All it accomplished was to burn a lot of time and gasoline. My daughter wanted to buy me a Tiffany lamp for Christmas so I had researched various on-line companies for the best in choices, pricing, etc. Finding a lamp that was a little cheaper on another site, I contacted Lighting Universe due to their 110% price guarantee and Jeff helped me. The finish on the this lamp is beautifully done and the glass shade is of very high quality. The construction of the lamp itself is very substantial - no corners cut. My only complaint is the light duty, cheap mounting hardware. If the mounting brackets were half as good as the lamp, I'd call this perfect. Be prepared to wait, our delivery was over 8 weeks, but definitely worth it. Once I dealt with the hardware and got the lamps up, we couldn't be happier.

I ordered this for my bathroom because I wanted something unusual and beautiful. This fits perfectly. The fixture ties the whole room together, from my blue butterfly granite to the dark green and blue in my mosaic tiles to the gold undertones in the cherry wood vanity. When lit up, it picks up my neutral flooring beautifully. This is more than I expected. Others have stated that there are a lot of green colors when it is not lit up, but I find that the glass has blue, green and brown undertones when off. The oil rubbed bronze finish is a perfect complement to the fixtures in the bathroom. I am so pleased with this lighting fixture.

This mini pendant was constructed with high quality materials and workmanship (made in the USA). I am very pleased with the look it adds to my kitchen. Something that I was not completely satisfied with, was the color of the glass, it is much lighter than it appears on the picture. In order for the glass to look that way I have to turn off all the lights and turn the dimmer to the lowest level, then the glass looks more coppery. I still do not regret buying this light fixture.

This light looks lovely but the installation is a total nightmare - took an very ecperienced person about three hours and we had to use professional level tools to redrill holes so we could actually get it up. Then it is so dim it hardly casts any light at all - certainly nothing like in the picture.

We ordered two Meyda Tiffany 3-light sconces, and one arrived with the base broken in half. After negotiations with Lighting Universe, which were cordial and understanding, Meyda Tiffany sent a replacement. This unit had a chip on one end, but we decided to hide the chip and keep the light rather than going through the process with Meyda Tiffany again. Clearly, Meyda Tiffany has a quality control problem in their shipping department. This cost us a couple of weeks delay in finishing the room's decor, and the final light still isn't perfect.

This lamp is gorgeous - I spent months looking for one that complimented the furniture in my bedroom and couldn't be more pleased. There are small cutouts on the top of the lamp so it throws a beautiful speckled light on the ceiling as well.

Not as advertised in photo - it isn't a 'color variation' at all - it was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LAMP!! I ordered the blue family and got the yellow one! This happened with another MEHTA lamp and I got a red and green lamp when I chose a blue, gold and purple one!!

Lighting universe, i shopped a long time for my lamp.
i wanted it as a gift from my mom. the color and light from it are romantic and soothing.
saddest thing is that i have knocked it over 2x, and it landed hard.
great thing is that the one fine line in a single leaf pane is negligible and it really should have smashed, but weathered all well.
STURDY, beautiful, heirloom.

We have a 1914 Sears Bungalow that we a restoring. I have been LABORING over all my choices from paint to hinges to lighting. These lights I saw late one night and decided to "just do it". They were a bit funky in the amber/purple and I was going for it. We later had a decorater come in to help and she liked the and put them over the fireplace. I orinally picked them for my bedroom. I'm a single male and no expert on lamps, but these are impressive. Heavy, solid base, nice design. Lamp shade is surprisingly good for a moderate price lamp and looks good. Limited bulb height, I'm going shopping for a low watt white bulb or incandescent colored bulb since I don't like bright living room lights. Shade is low enough to cover the bulb completely. I bought 2, A+ on this purchase.

I bought 2 of these lamps. One had to be exchanged because it had gobs of excess metal between the lady's head and the lamp post. The replacement lamp was beautiful. They are on an entranceway table and they give off a soft warm glow that fans out on the wall behind them.

We have this hanging temporarily in a floor to ceiling window facing the lake. It is waiting for it's new home in a hallway that once was our front door. It will be inside a secondary entrance in an old window that will be taken out and placed in a mudroom with other side to be in a guest bathroom. My only regret is that it was made in China instead of the USA. That's life in 2008.

If you put the lamp too high (sofa table behind couch) you can see the light bulbs from any seating position- so it's best used by tucking into a corner on a lower table and used as a light emitting decorator piece. I expected a higher quality and better construction from this manufacturer than it is. Shade appears to be spot welded and very light weight and moves with the slightest breeze, no matter how much it's tightened down. The look of the lamp from a distance is good however. It has a dull and aged coppery color and gives off an amber light through the shade. For this price point I was expecting something more substantial.

If you need a night lamp this is the one to buy. It does not give you much light but creates nice and cozy atmosphere. there was difficulty in finding a proper bulb fot the lamp. Standard bulbs do not fit in the space between the shade and the base.
