Too much money. Nice look, but too much money. More competition needed in the retro train station/old factory light fixture market. Fixture weighs about 1/2 lb, seems chincy considering the beau coup buckaroos. Had to check 5 starts (I love it) to get this review past the censors. LOL

Just what I wanted to light the front door of our newly constructed boat storage barn / workshop in Belfast, Maine.

I love this kind of nautical/industrial type fixture and had to hunt far and wide to track this down. The effort was absolutely worth it. It not only has great style, but it also looks as well-made and substantial as it is. That is to say that it doesn't look at all like the imitation/repro versions of this kind of lamp that you might be tempted to buy at a place like Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware. (Sorry!) Love that it comes in colors. Make sure when ordering that you get all of the components you need as they're sold separately--cage, glass cover, etc. Also, must have been ok to install as I didn't get complaints from the electrician!

Looks great, but rust is already appearing and it's only been up for six months. Had intentions to do all the outdoor lighting with this fixture, but wasn't expecting rust on an item at this price level.

These lights look great and all the parts are good quality, however they were not assembled well- the pipes are cross threaded causing the lights to hang slightly crooked and one light is an inch longer.I was unable to unscrew them to correct the problem. for the rather substantial price they should be better.

I liked the wide selection of shades, extension rods, light bulb guards from this manufacturer. The large number of color choices allows for a pretty cool mixture of rods and shades colors. The product is well made. Color coating is high quality

If you are replacing an existing unit you don't need the anchor bolts. Just go to the hardware store and get stud bolt anchors and drill the concrete.

I needed to light an outdoor grill with an unusual accent piece and this was just the ticket. I went with the galvanized finish for weather resistance and also to make it easy to clean the smoke and soot without damaging the finish. Initially the item was back-ordered at the factory and they said it would be about six weeks and asked me if I still wanted it. I did, and it turned out the product was shipped in less than three weeks and it was well worth the wait. The quality of material and construction is supurb. It was designed to use large 300 watt bulbs that extend below the rim of the shade, but for my application I use a 100 watt halogen bulb well up in the neck and it casts a perfect cone over the work area and does not draw bugs from far and wide. It really looks great over the stainless grill and it will looks good over yours, too. Of course if you have a barn...

The ordering process for the vapor guard wire cover guard fixture and mounting hardware was difficult to understand. All the parts were optional and depending on the seperate parts that you order they may or may not work together. Lighting Universe accomadated all our changes to get the final product and once we got them right the installation went smooth. We get VERY positive comments on the quality and look.

We had seen similar lighting done in a tennis club parking lot. Didn't think we could find anything like it - but there it was - right in the online catalog. It took a while to get as it is a custom made piece. We just ordered the light as we already had a stone base with a pole built in the front yard. Looks great!

I had a vision of what I was looking for and found the exact item and color in this string of lights. I'd heard of, but was surprised by the awesome quality of this fixture. We're going to mount the string on a cable between two anchor points and plug it into a circuit controled by a dimmer switch so we can set the perfect mood on our deck. The lamp shades will direct the light down where we want it and not waste it to the night sky. Very satisfied!

We bought 6 lights to match a previous purchase from another out-of-business manufacturer. These lights are far superior to the previous product, but are costly as is the case with most RLM fixtures. We are using these indoors mostly for the industrial look, but these would definitely hold up outdoors. Great look, nice construction, but you pay for it.

Well I bought a few of these lights and they were nice. But after 6 months of being exposed to the weather they pitted and rusted.... I had to find one of these that was industrial made when I found Barn Light Electric there are some great folks over there, and they have some awesome lighting. Eaither way Ive liked them both!

WE bought two of these. Bright red and bright blue. WARNING color chart is not 100% accurate.

Quality is poor. Paint had some specks like sand or dust under it. One came with a small dent despite having good packing. Installation instructions were weak.

This fixture was used to light a hand painted sign on a Dining area wall. The quality was excellent and the customer was very pleased. As with most commericial fixtures the price seems high, but the effect was worth it.
