This is the second sconce I've ordered from the George Kovacs line. (the first pair I purchased where the glass shade sconces ($107.00), alot of bang for the buck!) You can't beat the design/style and quality for the price.

I bought 2 of these lamps for my office, which is large and has a high ceiling and needs lots of lighting. The lamps were in stock and came quickly. They were easy to put together. I thought the top light was going to hold a 100 watt light but it is only rated for 60 watt. The overall quality is okay but the lamp is not as sturdy as I had expected for the price. They will work but only get a "C".

This is a beautiful pendant that will handle a 100w bulb. The kit was packed well and arrive not only complete, but with two bulbs included. That was a pleasant surprise. The instructions were easy and the light went in easily. The only "downside" is that the ceiling cover could be a slightly diameter. It is the same size as the junction box, so if not exactly centered, a wedge of the j-box can be seen. That said, it is an elegant and unique modern design which we have received compliments on. Quality is top shelf.

This is the cutest light fixture ever! When the light is on, the light shines through the crystals for a great effect. The pendant looks very sharp and modern especially since there are no hanging wires or rope chains. The pole is adjustable for higher ceilings. I could not be more pleased with this purchase!

Well made and oh so perfect for our dining room. Hand made silk shades with Chinese characters in the weave. The light is soft and the overall affect is warming. Everyone that sees it just loves it! The outer shades make a shadow on the inner shade that diminishes the overall look ever so slightly. Not enough for me to not love it though!

Unlike a lot of other track kits- this one uses little plastic which gives it a very high quality look. Overall easy to install. The trach is not as flexible as some other light kits, so you can only curve it so far before it "creases"

After waiting nearly 4 weeks to receive my item, I had to return it because it was defective (the bulbs would not fit in the sockets). Then, it took 2 weeks to receive a replacement. Now that I have hung the chandelier I have discovered the shades are all crooked, it does not look symetrical. I wouldn't recommend this chandelier. It is smaller than it looks in the photo and it looks cheap!

I've installed many fixtures in my home before and this was by far the most difficult. If you need to shorten the cords be sure to have second person help you so you can hang it evenly or better yet hire an electrician! Otherwise - great product and this was the best price by a mile!! Was almost double the price at "major" home improvement stores...

This light looks great and takes up very little visual space. However be sure to note that it doesn't swivel from side-to-side, only up and down so it's not great for a bedside lamp unless you want it overhanging your head while you sleep. The light bar is very long, too, which makes it great for a desk or worktable.

I searched through hundreds and hundreds of lights and ended up buying 2 of these Bling, Bling pendants. They arrived fast and in perfect condition. One large one for over my dinner table and a smaller one for my foyer entry in my downtown condo in Florida. They look really great! One-of-a-kind and a real attention getter in a good way. Love the playful, hip, modern style... yet also not really too much over the top. They have a sophisticated edge to them as well. The frosted white glass is just thick enough and not cheap looking plastic. All the chrome is very bright and reflective. The chrome hanging rod is firm and has such clean lines coming from the ceiling. NOTE: I have both of them on a dimmer (really makes a difference) and I also installed these cool crystal-cut bulbs that I found at Home Depot which really add to the sparkly look. The cost was not that much more than regular bulbs and looks ten times better. Love the crystal patterns that flood around the room on the walls from the sides of these terrific lights. Don't fear: It isn't too bold and glittering like a big, tacky Disco Ball... but, just the right amount of "Bling". Very happy customer here! Wish you the same success with your choices.

The chandelier is nicer than I expected and had an adjustable pole for higher ceilings. I just love any product by George Kovacs! Be prepared to wait about 2 weeks for most Kovacs products to arrive at your door because their products are sent from the warehouse.

These lights are very attractive. We have three above our master sinks. One on each side of the mirror and one between the sinks. Light color is very nice and gives off a glow that even makes you look good in the mirror. Highly recommended. One glass came broken but a quick email to customer service and they quickly handled a replacement glass.

Though the fixture is nice and of good quality, the photo representation on the website did not convey the shape of the shade very well. If pictures cannot effectively show fixture aspects, then a detailed verbal description should be included. In these energy crisis days, a returned item is more than just a hassle.

Saw the picture of this light on both the web-site and in the catalogue. fell in love with it right away. when we unpacked the product, the material looked nothing like the picture. the small squares that make up this light are actually clear plastic that resembled a hobby holagram playing card. I would not have paid five dollars for this lamp.

I bought two of these sconces for either side of my bathroom mirror. They would be a little dim in a bathroom by themselves, but we have a ceiling light in the bathroom as well. They are very classy looking and well built. This was the first time I installed a light fixture and I had no problems at all.

I love this bathroom light. I'm glad that I made the right decision to buy this one for Master Bathroom (replace the old one). Compare to the other design (from George Kovacs) I would recommend this one is the best. The design of this item at visual 3D look is the best. The other ones is flat to me.
I wish George Kovacs also design for smaller (3 or 4 lights) as well.

We actually use two of these lamps as our bedside lamps and they work perfectly. Our bed is a platform bed with 2 side tables the same height. The lamps stand on the tables on each side of the bed and the lighting is excellent for reading - or, reostated down for ambience.

The picture gave me the wrong idea about what the fixture would look like. The middle round thing appears to be a chrome cover for the light bulb. It seems that the picture has a reflection of something that gave the imprssion of something else.

Description of lamp did not do justice, nor did it state how WONDERFUL to have the lamp turn on with a simple light touch of any metal part -yes!- No switches/no buttons.
A bonus: With a plain 100W bulb, 3 different strengths of light are possible. Each touch brings on another strength, next touch turns off. Superb contemporary design: Worth the high price.

The ordering process was good. Your sales associate, Renee Mizrahi, was very helpful and answered my all of my questions in a very timely manner. I appreciated the shipping updates to let me know when I would receive the fixture. On arrival, we found that one of the light arms was not attached correctly and had come off in the container. It took some effort, but we did get it reattached to the fixture after adjusting the screw length. That was the only negative in the process. The lamp looks very nice, assembly was easy. I had to add a nut to the point of connection where the head rotates, because it would not stay in place when I pointed it exactly where I wanted it. Also a little shorter than I expected but makes for very nice over-the-shoulder reading lights. I would buy it again, if I new I had that specific nut handy to add to the assembly

We are also installing this on a sloped ceiling. How did the customer "vicki c.(new port richey, FL)" install it on the sloped ceiling? Ours fell after two days. LightingUnivers & Kovacs would not take responsibility for the fall. Said it was not meant for sloped ceilings, which is not written anywhere on the instructions or on the advertisement online. It does say to "avoid swing for children" which is really helpful information. How about some suggestions on how to install it on a sloped ceiling? I thought the transformer (which weighs 6 lbs.) should be securely attached to a joist and a part similar to a "ceiling fan sloped ceiling kit" should be used to relieve any pressure on the threads on the "Stud". I am not even an Electrician, and I can tell this has a serious design flaw. I have this light, I have a sloped ceiling and I want it installed so it won't fall down. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like this lamp overall, but the picture made me think that the entire base has the chrome finish, when it is just the inset, and the rest is actually white. It does say this in the description, but I think additional pictures would be very helpful. I actually do not like the white part of the lamp at all, and would not have bought it had I realized this.

The instructions consisted of a 'picture' so they were not that helpful and once assembled the light seems to be somewhat unsturdy. However, we placed the light behind a chaise so it does not get bumped in any way. The light itself is great--love the dimming feature and the reading light is perfect. We just wish the base were a little more steady.

Instructions could have been better. Definitely requires two people to install. It's hard to get the cover for the transformer to be flush with the ceiling, we live with a gap. The transformer also hums but at a fairly low level. It's also quite tricky to get it level with all the wires under tension. Despite all this it is a cool light and we'd definitely buy it again.

This light fixture looks even better once out of the box. Installation was a bit tricky - you better have four hands to install it, because of the overall weight! Attaching the glass shades comes with the fun part of 24 little screws which hold the eight shades. Height adjustment is very easy if you put a level on the counter weight. This is the second Kovacs light fixture we bought and we recommend them to friends for the design and value.

I originally purchased a George Kovacs light at the Home Depot Expo, but it was in a different shape, and cost about $60 more than on this website. Anyway - I liked this square shape of the light better - so I ordered it from here - first time I ever used this site. The light came in a timely manner, it was all in one piece, and I am very, very happy with my purchase. This looks great in my house, just had it installed by the electrician this morning!

I love the lamp. It adds a great finishing touch to a room. Easy to put together, arrived in perfect condition. Just wish the price was a little less but love the lamp.

It looks great!Make sure you have 2 people to install as the wires need to be cut down to fit your space. Other than getting the light and the counterweight level, we did not feel this was difficult to install.
