Excellent quality, easy to install. I have had several models of lights from this company and I am completely satisfied....would recommend to anyone. I plan to order several more of this model for my patio.

I LOVE THE LIGHT FIXTURE!! I BOUGHT MY FIRST ONE IN 1966. I HAVE REPLACED IT THREE TIMES AS YOU HAVE IMPROVED THE BULB "HOLDER". HOWEVER, THE ONE I BOUGHT FROM A DEALER YESTERDAY WILL NOT RETAIN THE BULB!! AFTER 3 MINUTES ( I TIMED IT) THE BULB BASE HEATS TO THE POINT THAT THE HOLDER "SPITS" THE BULB OUT. IT SEEMS THAT THE SPRING IS TOO STRONG AND/OR THE HOLDER TOO SOFT. PLEASE REFER THIS TO YOUR ENGINEERING DEPT AND ADVISE ME AS TO A SOLUTION....THANKS

Easy to work with but disappointing rugedness for the money. Have had to replace or repair several of them. Found similar product for half the cost elsewhere and haven't had the same problems.

I have installed three of these lights about 8 feet over my deck and about 10-12 feet apart. They provide a great level of subdued lighting where there is plenty of lighting to move around the deck safely. Visitors to my house have commented frequently how much they like the lighting and noted how other decks seem to be lite by high powered spotlights where every movement is seen by all of the neighbors. They also help with security as I leave them on all night without any neigbors complaining. Order extra bulbs as they seem difficult to get locally. My only complaint is the shortness of the leads - they force you to splice your leads somewhere in the middle of the chain that it is hanging on, somewhat ruining the finished look - 2 ft leads would be great.

This is the best choice for landscape lighting effects, provided that a few rules are followed: Keep other lighting to a max. of 20W per fixture. Never allow the garden visitor to see the source of the light. Mount an odd number of the fixtures together in trees at different heights. A 5 year old tree probably takes 3 fixtures, whereas a 25 year old tree may be able to support 7. Hang the fixtures above tree limbs to cast interesting moon light effects on the ground. Each fixture should be hung from a permanent tree branch with about 6" of landscape cable above the fixture. When there is a breeze, the fixture sways slightly, giving the feeling of movement, in the garden.

The starliter has a very nice yellow glow to it. The fixture spreads a pleasant light. My only negative comment is the light is visible on the sides through the holes making the fixture itself an attraction. We were hoping for a "behind the scenes" type of deck light and this does not necessarily apply. The light, however, is very nice.

I couldn't seem to find the perfect light for my application, but these come real close, so I really like them rather than love them. What totally exceeded my expectations was the fast turn around and phone support I got from Lighting Universe. When it comes to customer satisfaction, these guys get it.
The lights came with loose end wires, rather than those pinch clips that clamp around the low voltage cable. That made it a bit tricker to connect, so plan for that. Also, you don't get much more than a 180 degree rotation of the light on its bracket. I wanted a little more than that.

These Tikiliters are great lights, especially the larger Tiki. They put out a lot of light, the bulbs last forever (have burned them every night for the past 6+years and haven't burned them out yet) and they would apply well to areas that are under Dark Night light restrictions as they don't shed light outward, or up, just down in a nice arc. Nice lighting for stairs and other areas where smaller path lights are not bright or elevated enough. Solid, heavy duty and worth every penny! Haven't used the torch part too much but it lasts for several hours and easy to fill. The only complaint would be wasps love the torch cap area and under the shade so be diligent on monitoring insect nests. Otherwise beautiful lights.

The piece is quality made. Instead of the plastic mounting peg, this one is made of aluminum as the light itself. It is well made and looks great when used in the right place. Pricey but I feel it is worth the price (you get what you pay for?). Highly recommend.

Excellant landscape light for deck if you want to concentrate the light down rather than out. No maintenance required. I have my lights on a timer so they come on every night. A bit expensive, but I have had these same lights on another deck for ten years with no maintenance needed.

Good commercial grade quality lights you can't find at Lowe's or Home Depot. I did change the bulbs from the 12 watt to 18 watt. Changing bulbs is VERY easy with these path lights--not like many of the commercial grade lights that require 10 minutes to remove cover to change bulb. Copper changes quickly to a nice patina.

I have been using Nightscaping products for 25 years. They are very durable. I especially like this spot light because the replacement bulbs are very inexpensive (about 50 cents each at an auto parts store).
