The sconce is as good looking as the photo on my wall and
even more brilliant when the lights are on.

Installation was very fast and simple. However, the
installation diagram and instructions didn't coicide with
the actual fixture parts and this was discouraging. Everything worked out fine after I ignored the instructions and just figured it out with the parts provided.

Also, the sconce hangs out slightly (about 1/8 in from the wall) after installation because the hanging strip bends. Can live with it though.

All in all, satifisfied.

The Kitsilano Chandelier does not have an "oil rubbed bronze finish" as the web site description says. It is painted a faux brown with streaks of lighter brown. One of the sockets is not level like the other two. It looks very cheap and poorly constructed.

This light is very much like the one in the Pottery Barn catalog, but it is a lot less. The glass is a milk glass and looks more vintage than the glass with the swirls in it which I don't like. What is really good about it is that it takes 3 60 watt bulbs so if you need light, this is one of the few flush mounts out there that takes that wattage. I have 10' ceilings in my master bath and have 2 of them in there. For the money, it is a good value.

A most beautiful light fixture. Absolutely stunning! I could have hung this myself had it not been the fact I did not have an outlet box in the ceiling. Not the best item for a kitchen, which is where I installed it, (not enough bright light) but the illumination is very warm and goes beautifully with Oak cupboards. Would make a lovely bedroom light.

This is the first time I have purchased a moderately priced item online which would fall into the category of home decor. I was somewhat apprehensive about placing the order, but I studied the enlarged photo of the item very carefully. I also e-mailed the customer service department with questions I had before placing the order. The answers to the two questions I received back helped my resolve to place my order. The light was shipped promptly and well packed. Was it everything I hoped it to be? Absolutely! I love it now that it's up, and I have received many compliments on its choice. Thank you, Lighting Universe,for allowing me to easily search through hundreds of choices of lights online, finally narrowing my choices down to a few from which I made my final selection. I never would have had that option in a regular store. We had gone that route before I began my search online. I couldn't be more happy!

I bought two of these lights for my living room and was very happy when they were delivered. They were packed nicely and were received in perfect condition. The shades are heavy and strong and the colors in the glass cannot possibly be shown justice with a picture. Worth every penny!

The only reason I didn't give this a perfect rating, is b/c there were some scratches on it. I just used a black marker on them. Given that it was a ceiling fixture, it didn't matter to me. I love it and have had comments on how nice it is! Natalie

It's hard to tell from the pictures online what this light really looks like. But I can tell you that those pictures do not do it justice! There are 2 different styles of glass in it. The frosted part is not just frosted white, like a light bulb would be, but has a white design in the clear glass that looks like frost. I couldn't tell this from the picture, but I'm glad I chose this light because my front door has the exact same kind of frosting on the glass, along with some beveled glass. This light is in our foyer, just inside the front door and it looks so nice when seen from outside, through the beveled glass in our door. The light was delivered sooner than promised, in perfect condition and I am very happy with it!

I bought three of these lamps for my kitchen. They are not installed yet but I am pleased at the workmanship of the brass lamp body itself. Was a little disappointed in the globes, pieces don't seem crafted as carefully as I expected and the colors don't seem quite as bright as I expected (I put one of the globes over a lamp to see it) but overall I'm happy with them. I would purchase lighting again from this website.

I chose this fixture on-line for its distinct style, the oil-rubbed bronze finish, and the unique glass shade. I am fully satisfied with the fixture for these reasons - it is beautiful and makes quite an impact on our formerly plain-jane entry. We received it from the manufacturer in the time promised. Our only disappointment, which led to great frustration, was the VERY INSUFFICIENT installation instructions. A generic and poorly illustrated sheet was sent, but this fixture has a unique design, and we had to enlist the help of a number of DIY friends to finally securely attach the glass shade to the fixture. Also, the Height dimension listed is for the shade/bottom hardware only. Hanging height from ceiling is actually 15".

We bought these sconces because we could not find a match for our chandelier elsewhere. The "filler" material used in these sconces is gray (instead of black), so it does not match the chandelier as well as we would like. Assembly instructions were horrible!

I received the chandelier a few weeks ago as you can see from the pictures I modified it using Baccarat crystals that came from an antique chandelier partially destroyed during world war 2 in France, my mother had kept the crystals which had survived the bombing of our house.

Overall happy with the fixtures. I purchased 4 differnt fixtures in May and I am just receiving the final shipment. My only call out is that they should alert the customer when ordering that somehting is not available or on back order. I was charged in full and had not received 1 think I ordered. That is not how on-line shopping usually works.

Very happy with this awesome lamp. Now installed low over a large coffee table. Added dimmer to vary intensity. It looks really rich at lower light levels, as well as brighter levels. The light is beautiful, but has the feel of plastic instead of glass. I don't like the way it disperses light, but being a down light I should have considered this is the projection of the light. The photo also shows a pull chain. I thought you would be able to turn the light on and off here instead of a light switch, but there is no pull chain on the light I received. It is the perfect for my small kitchen, a lot of the others were too deep for an 8' ceiling and too wide, but this worked just right. The only thing I am surprised about is the color in the center of the fixture is a huge area of yellow. The color in this area is very strong and predominant. A little too much.
I did order the pendant to go with this and it compliments the flush mount well. With so many colors in the fixture I am not limited to keeping my kitchen one color.

I wanted a light that didnt have a drum or glass shades. I had searched high and low for cage style lights, but all I could find was modern chrome lights. I wanted something a little more transitional. And this light did it for me. I have 40 watts tybe B bulbs in it and it is very bright. I would suggest that this light is only well suited for a bedroom setting (perhaps a porch) The light presented wondful shawdows that give the walls a artistic touch. I enjoy the light and would recommend this product.

I bought this fixture for my kitchen along with a chandelier that was of the same style and brand. This fixture was so difficult to install I gave up at one point. I have installed six other fixtures in my new home and they have all been slightly different to install and each posed their own instillation challenges. Every fixture you buy attaches to the ceiling differently it seems. Why is that? Anyway, of the several I have now installed this was the most frustrating and difficult to install. There were very little directions which caused some confusion. The worst part was trying to line up the screws to the junction box. The holes are small and you are blindly groping for the holes thought the base of the fixture to the junction box. Since this thing is about 12 inches in diameter they could be anywhere. It was a hassle!! I spent sever hours on this and at one point gave up and came back to it the following day because I was too frustrated. I would have sent it back but for the fact that I like the look of it and it was unique plus the fact that I had bought the matching chandelier. Once I finally wrestled the thing in to place sever hours later looking like hell with my hair completely sweated out I did like the way that it looked with the lights turned out. I had to then stop and celebrate with several cocktails due to the frustration! Because the glass bowl is brown it cast a strange yellow type glow that I’m not crazy about. I wish it could be brighter so I tried replacing the recommended 60 watt bulbs with 100 watt. That was a mistake! One of them burnt out immediately because it was too much wattage and then I had to mess with it again to change the bulbs back to 60 watt. In the end it does look nice up. Maybe get an electrician and save your self the hassle and a trip to the salon to fix your busted finger nails and sweated out perm! May God be with you if you buy this fixture. Your gonna need him by your side every moment!

I placed this fixture in my husband's wine cellar. The grape leaves and grapes all in glass set the setting for a wonderful display for the wine cellar. I did put a dimmer switch on it in order to show the ambiance of the fixture when the cellar door is opened. Very nice design, the quality for the money is exceptional. I would recommend the fixture as a "great buy."

It's lighter weight than I expected, but beautiful. The paint on the base is a little uneven in color, but not noticeable when mounted. The instructions weren't very clear for someone who had never installed a light before. The light I took down had one set of wires for two lightbulbs and this had three sets for the three bulbs. It also took some trial and error to get it level.

This fixture is pretty much exactly as described, other than being a bit darker than the picture. Dark glass is brown, not red.

I am using a compact flourescent bulb in it, and wish it used the A19 standard base, but that's a common shortcoming of the smaller fixtures.

A bit delicate, but will survive well and look good as a sconce. Price competes well with fixtures costing 2X more as long as the single candelabra is adequate for your needs.
