Very small, yet bright and COOL to the touch. A bit more pricey that they puck-type LEDs, but better coverage that can be hard-wired or plug-in. A bit fidgety, due to small size, but once in, they are fabulous. I would buy these again in a heart-beat!

I was thoroughly impressed with the end result of how the pot rack completed my kitchen. The clean modern lines and the accent lighting really made the fixture come together in the space. With my low ceiling the adjustable cable hanging system allowed for the flexibility i needed. The ability to hang the stemware also was an added bonus but is not the easiest as you have to spread the steel rods to actually work the base of the stemware in. One suggestion to the company would be that you should make the fixture dimmable. Overall, like i said, i really am quite impressed with the fixture and have received a ton of compliments on it.

I was worried about the quality of the acrylic but it is very nice - looks and actually feels like frosted glass. The simplicity is beautiful. Want to try to figure out a way to install without the round eschutcheon.

I installed two single light fixtures in my guest bathroom with the glass up and was very pleased with the outcome. I recently installed the double light fixture in my upstairs bathroom with the glass down and was equally pleased. These light fixtures use energy efficient fluorescent lights. Special snap in lights are supplied with the fixture.

It looks nice, but was very disapointed in the overall light for the price. I would have sent it back, but I had a contractor in and needed to just get the project done. It does not put off as much light as I had expected and it simply a piece of glass over a light tube.

I was looking for pendants for over the kitchen peninsula in the new house we will begin building soon. I had been looking around for quite a few months as they are visible in the great room and from the entry, and I knew when I found the right ones I could use them to set the tone for the rest of our design choices. I knew immediately these would be perfect. I ordered 3 and opened one up when we received them. It is nice, heavy glass. They are well packed and arrived in perfect condition. We received them within a week of purchase. I am now looking for other lighting for the house at lightinguniverse.

Made the mistake of buying one transformer for each loop of lighting. You can hardwire these, but cannot attach the lights directly to housing electrical wire. Received additional supplies quickly; finished job was well worth the wait. These lights are bright, inconspicuous, and cool to the touch. They do a great job of highlighting the backsplash tile. Worth EVERY PENNY that I paid for them!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE LIGHTS!!!

The light is built Ok. Dollarwise, the price is competitive. If it were not for the problem described below, I would have given it 5 stars. The electronic ballast starts instantly and is very quiet. With the 4 T8 tubes you have plenty of even light when mounted about 9 feet above grade.
My problem lies with the lens cover plate latch. The design makes it hard to close the the cover. You have to pinch the latch and than press the cover up into position. This action tends to push the entire light assembly up and out of the ceiling grid. There are brackets that are supposed to hold the light in the grid but they don't always do so. Lights that I have used in the past have the cover secured with a latch that pivots on the lens cover into the frame. They do not load the the light assembly vertically and in my opinion are a far superior design. I purchased 14 of these lights for a job, I doubt if I will do it again.

We have not yet installed the chandelier. It will hang above the dining room table. It has the contemporary look we like and the color is appealing to us. It arrived in a timely manner and was packed very well.

I priced this chandelier at a local lighting store and it was $70 more and they said it would take 4 weeks for delivery. I ordered it from lighting universe and it arrived in less than a week with free shipping. I will order again in the future.

I don't like the fact that this light uses bulbs that have a connection that isn't a normal "screw in" bulb. I cant put a dimmer bulb in its place.

We bought them to be temporary (for florescent kitchen percentage), but still have them up a year later. The cord is a little cheap looking, but the mounting is nice. Bulbs are not the screw in kind, which has its disadvantages.

Whether you buy this light from LU or one of the home improvement chains, it is sort of one of a kind. If you want/need a Sodium or Halid flood light with a directional flood light pattern, this is one of the few available anywhere. It does NOT have a installed dawn/dusk feature even though the pic appears that is might. However one can install an aftermarket sensor with a little mechanical/electrical knowledge. The light is typical yellow sodium, if you want bright white, look for a Halide.

I love the style and look of the fixture, however, the bulb wattage limit is not what I expected. I thought it would be brighter than it is above my drafting table. I can't add a higher wattage bulb either.

We recently purchased three of these pendant lights for our breakfast bar and love the look of them. They are clean and simple, allowing them to match a variety of decors.

The only isse we have is with the light bulbs. First of all, they are super expensive. Also, they are hard to find. And, the bulbs that come with the lights are not very bright especially given that they are to be used in the kitchen.

The lighting looks high end & gives a very warm light with the tea stain glass. I am very pleased with the look but I have had problems the balast connection & the bulbs are very hard to find. The difficulty in finding the bulbs would deter me from this lighting although it is beautiful.

Because of the shape of the diffuser, you get very even distribution of light. And it doesn't look like your everyday, off the shelf fixture. It is as "elegant" as an overhead flourescent can get! A little pricey for the style. I cannot comment on installation as my builder installed it for me. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend the fixture for use in kitchens, work areas, or anyplace that needs even light.

These four fixtures are all installed in a room approximately 12' x 12' and they do not provide enough light for close work. I must also turn on an additional light. I have been very disappointed in the amount of light they provide.

When I bought this light I thought the blue part was see through. It actually is not and it looks retro, not modern. The construction has metal on glass so I had to go to the hardware store to create a plastic sleeve so the outside glass wouldn't crack.

I have to admit that we did not install these ourselves, but hired an electrian, so I can't really speak to ease of install. That said he had the eight up in a very reasonable time. We ordered 8 large lights for a 20x20 room with one wall of windows and dark paint. This is just barely enough light. However, we have also ordered a large pendent to accompany these and had been planning for that. We are very pleased with how these look.

The product was exactly what I ordered and was delivered timely and in good condition. The installation went very smoothly; however, I have had to speak with the company regarding the plastic diffuser that went with it. It appears too small for the fixture and keeps falling out. It has done this repeatedly. The customer service center told me they would send a replacement within 4-5 days and if this is done and it fits correctly- I will be Completely satisfied!

This pendant looks like nothing else on the market. It hangs centered between the sinks and mirror in my master bath. The polished chrome face plate and pins match perfect with the bath hardware. The moss green within the clear tube brings a hip designer look to the space. It is hard to install those pins, though; but the effort is worth the outcome.

The only issue is that the glass shades for the 2-light set didn't match the shades on the 4-light set. All of the glasses were more BROWN than the pictures make you suspect, so be sure to expect a more yellow-brown light color.

The lithonia lighting co. has built up a name and done the worst thing you can do, and that is reduce the quality of the product. The fixtures were flimsey and falling apart right out of the box and the flanges are not part of the fixture they come seperate and must be assembled but have no way of attaching safely to the fixture. The troffers did not have the adjustible arms on the sides as pictured so they had to be fastened using another inferior method. Conclusion, would have been better to use a less expensive fixture with those goofy ready to assemble flanges and put it together that way to offset the extensive labor COST for assembly & installation.

This light fixture was exactly as described. The Xenon light is identical to halogen (yellow/white) but with a lot less heat. I used this unit under a home office unit for the desk. 18W Xenon is not as super-bright as halogen, and it's softer. This unit was a bit advanced (it has lots of options for piggy-backs, direct wire, etc, but it also included a standard wall cord, which is what I wanted. My understanding also is that Xenon lasts a way lot longer...10,000 hours!
