The photo shows a silvery slim lamp. What really comes is something much more gold, with some awful faux painting. Not very slender at all, kind of clunky. Disappointing.

These lamps were purchased for bedroom nightstands - what an improvement! Shades are beautiful, base is sturdy, 3-way switch perfect. I absolutely love them!!!

We bought a pair for our bedroom. They look okay, but unfortunately, the joint between the top half of the post and the bottom half of the post doesn't fit properly. This is true for both lamps, so I assume it's like that on all of them. Therefore, the lamp doesn't look completely straight and erect, as it does in the picture. It looks a little skewed and kind of leaning. I expected better quality for my nearly $1,000.00.

I am actually pleased with the quality of these lamps (for the money) and did not encounter the problems that the other reviewer did. The pair I have is solid and fully functional.

I love the lamp EXCEPT that the on/off switch is on the floor. Would much rather have in at the top of the lamp near the light bulb. The curved part has threading for a little black know but there is no know there! Need the know or they need to not make part with threading.

Lamp was too expensive for cheap construction,flimsy materials and poor assembly. Lamp base was loose on both lamps. They took about three weeks to get to me and they were not worth the money.

The pic makes the box appear more reflective but this is because of more dulling/antiquing around the ornate trim of the box. This box has a lot of character and is set handsomely within our parlor/entertainment room.

I waited two months for this lamp to arrive, delay after delay. It did arrive but will only stay lit for about ten minutes, then shuts off. I don't want to pay return postage so will keep and have rewired. I paid what I thought was a lot for this lamp and made a mistake.

While the middle and lower body are quality built . . . the Decorative Fleur de Leis 'Topper' and adjustable 'Bottom Anchors' are just plain CHEAP and have high probability of arriving damaged (as did both my seperately packaged units) or becoming damaged quite soon within your own home/business setting (those pieces are cheap tin and aren't 'ship packed' very well.

There are no instructions but assembly and adjustability was not too hard to figure out.

Love the lamp. Very high quality appearance--birds are resin but leaves are metal and slightly flexible so they can be adjusted; lamp shade is attractive with wavy effect on edges. It’s charming and a little piece of nature and art.
