Beautifully made; quality all the way. simple lines, ultra classsy. It should be for what it costs, but I am very happy with it. Note: it is quite big/tall, so note the height of your ceilings and the space it will occupy.

The square glass diffuser and suspension is very unique--just what I was looking for. It makes a subtle, classy statement in the room. Stone glass gives a warm glow to the bright light. We are pleased with the quality workmanship of the fixture and complete installation guide.

Order fulfillment was very fast. The Kakomi semi-flush mount light has an excellent balance and good sight lines to it. My only problem was that the protective shield over the halogen bulb did not fit well. It popped out the first time and needed 3 attempts to screw in correctly. Instructions were well written and clear.

These wall sconces went on sides of rustic metal mirrors over cherry vanity with white marble top. Full bathroom remodel very "earthy spa" feeling to our new room. These lights are a great value and are very well made. After checking for more details on Hubbardton Forge website I knew the no-return policy here would not be an issue. Called another dealer that had these lights and they also had no-return AND were selling them for much more. I have not seen anything like these in my shopping travels for fixtures. They are BEAUTIFUL, UNUSUAL and CLASSY looking. Thank you.

Hubbardton has nailed down modernism-retro in a simple, high quality product. The quality of the lamp is exceptional. The design works with almost any interior scheme. Even the lighting is great, giving an even coverage throughout a medium sized room. I have the old style, with (4) 40 watt candlabra bulbs. This style is an improvement of a lamp that I would never have guessed could be improved.

I was nervous about color as website really does not show color well, but felt safe to order a bronze chandelier with the stone glass and it is perfect! We have a dimmer and I would reccommend a dimmer to enjoy the softness as well as the bright lighting! The workmanship is great and the electrician who assisted in the installation was impressed!
Overall, great and happy to see craftsmanship from USA!!

It's a nice fixture for the price; finish is good, scale and proportion are very good. It's a bit smaller than I would have liked. A very good piece to use when you need something budget conscience. I like all of the Hub. Forge things for that reason. Don't forget to order the glass shade-- it comes separately!

Very well made in terms of the globe and fixture. Very attractive hung. Requires holes drilled into wall to mount base so that the light can be used with pretty much any type electrical box. The only problem experienced was that the mounting base on one unit did not align properly with one fixture when installing. The fix was leaving one of the lower attachment screws out, which does not affect the stability of the attachment.

We were tired of the mundane selection offered by Home Depot, so we went on the internet and found these sconces. We almost never order anything over the internet, but even in the Toronto area no one stocks Hubbardton Forge fixtures. Toronto retailers were willing to order them in but the prices were insane. We ordered 4 sconces through Lighting Universe (Allied Group). In less than 3 weeks, they arrived at our door by UPS in perfect condition. They look just like the picture. (My husband made a slight modification to give them a 1/2" black border to hightlight the fixture even more.) Even with Canadian taxes and brokerage fees (no duty since lights are US made) our total cost was still 25% less than trying to get them ordered through a Canadian retailer. Good buying experience.

Overall satisfaction with my purchase, however, website did not clearly show the looks of the lamp difuser. The saffra glass is nice, but I should've chosen the stone difuser instead. Stone would have matched my interior design a lot better.

I moved into a 1950s ranch and I am turning the living room into a dining room, so the 8 foot ceilings, and a six foot table were going to be sizing challenges. I loved the fact that I found sizing tips on this site, and the dimensions were on the website, easy to find, which made it easy to decide if the sizing was right.

We received the pendants but did not realize that the shades were not included. Of course, a second look at the listing showed plain as day that they are not included in the price, but unfortunately, we missed that when ordering.

The lights look nice, but will look really nice once the shades arrive ... we had to make a second purchase thanks to our oversight.

I love the grace and simplicity of these fixtures. We purchased them for a house with a beach and island view, with Queen Anne and and traditional furniture. The fixture is not heavy, so easy to hang, except we found the nipple long for our "j" box and took some adjusting. The chains are so strong that bending/opening a link for hanging took tools. We used two different finishes. Iron in the kitchen nook to compliment the antique nickle hardware and stainless appliances. Dark smoke in the dining room to compliment antique brass and dark cherry of the furniture. Would recommend seeing finishes in person before purchase.

The description is not explicit of the item. The shade are flimsy and color is not accurate as shown on internet. Brown shade is greyish brown-very light NOT the brown in the picture. Lamp took a long time to get shipped.

The lamp has a nice shape and is reasonably priced for the size and quality. It appears to be a quality construction. The only disappointment, is that the natural iron finish looks like the color and texture of a bottom of a no-stick iron. The finish is not attractive and does not look like the natural iron that was described on the web site

I've ordered 4 different light fixtures from Hubbardton Forge now and they all are beautiful and the quality is great. HOWEVER, I've had problems with parts every single time. The first time the pendant was missing an anchor disk. When it was sent, they sent the wrong size disk. The diffuser shade to this outdoor sconce was the wrong size, so it didn't fit inside the metal frame. So, it had to be replaced. Since all products are delivered directly from the manufacturer, it is not Lighting Universe's fault. It's a beautiful product. I just wish the people at Hubbardton Forge would get their act together.

This is a beautiful chandelier but end product I received broke during installation and would have collapsed on top of me if it had not been wired in. The chandelier has a 12" cast rod at the top which connects to the support chain. This cast rod threads onto a hollow bolt coming out the top of the center pod of the chandelier. After chandelier fell I realized that the actual contact area between the rod and bolt was no more than a single thread which was enough to support the chandelier without glass but not with it. (the hollow bolt is 0.380 inches long, the washer and friction washer are 0.150 inches thick and the threads are recessed in the casting about 0.150 inches which leaves 0.080 inches where the threads of the casting and bolt are actually in contact).

This is a very nice, unique ceiling light fixture appropriate for a entry way or small area where not a lot of light is needed. I thought that it would take up to a 100 watt bulb but discovered that it could only use up to 60 watt so a bit dimmer than I had anticipated. However, I was able to put a 14 watt(60 watt) energy saver florescent in it & achieve a nice amount of light. The entire light is quite small so really not meant for a larger room or entry.

I am very happy with these lamps. They were easy to assemble, are strikingly beautifuly in their styling. They substantial which means I never knock them off the table when reaching over to turn them on or off. I have not had one problem with them in over a year, not even a light bulb change.

Best of all, they are made in America, which was my goal for this particular purchase. I bought a set that was made in china for another room and they are flimsy, not well crafted. I knock them over more than I would like because they are made of inferior materials.

If you are looking for lamps that will last, they are worth the every penny of the money spent!

After searching for swing arm lamps for my bedroom, and only finding "cheesy" quality and limited selection, I found this lamp online with Lighting Universe. Although I have yet to get my husband to install them, they are beautifully made - very solid with nice swing movement (no rattling, shaking). I am very happy with the purchase and I am particularly pleased with the quality of the lamp. Now if they would just hurry up and offer that "husband prodder" product......

We ordered these shades in white to cover candle-type lightbulbs on a black iron chandelier. They fit perfectly on the bulbs and cast a nice even light. The shade material is a nice heavy weight, with straight seams and edges. The shades are the right height and circumference, making a good balance with the iron structure of the chandelier.

this sconce has a paper thin sheet of copper covering a tin back, it has bubbles in the copper and looks cheep!!! they will not except returns, so avoid this one. all other Hubbardton forge products I purchased are very nice!

The sconces are outstanding. The stone glass I chose is beautiful but the colors are different for the two pieces. In the configuration I had them installed, it is quite noticeable. One of the globes is rather tan, the other rather white. They are installed on both sides of one door. Either one alone is fine, but I wish they had been chosen to be shown together. That is my only disappointment.

These lights are simply gorgeous. Simple, elegant, sophisticated and perfectly contemporary all combine to make these the perfect addition to our home. Top notch quality and the company has a excellent service to complement their product. The whole line of products that this company offers are superb. Classic/contemporary sums it up and will fit almost every decor. Our friends love our forged leaves and so do we. We have the natural iron and white opaque glass. The shade diffuses light nicely leaving no harsh glare whatsoever to the eye. That is must for any light fixture as the glare tires your eyes. With these lights glowing softly we never want to leave the room. The natural iron is very nice. Silverish (almost brushed metal quality without the flashy chrominess). Not blackish like other iron forged products you may find. Look good and hard at this line. we will eventually get the leaves table lamp to round out the room. The prices for these hand crafted masterpieces cant be beat. Its a steal actually!

I have been remodeling over the past 7 months, and have updated a good deal of our lighting -- some of it has been inexpensive, and some has been at the higher end (like this Hubbarton Forge). I've now been using my purchases for about 4 months, and have observed that you really do get what you pay for. Althought the cheaper lighting is suitable, there is a noticable difference in the quality of these pendant lamps that I paid more for. They are really a joy to look at.

I belabored over the purchased of this chandelier because the price is fairly steep. However, I have received it, installed it and it LOOKS expensive. Truly a design statement. My only complaint is that the installation instructions are tedious and should be simplified. Far too many steps --- and feeding the wire through the posts is like fitting a square peg in a round hole. It took me 30 minutes to get through that step alone. I spoke to a friend who purchased a different light fixture - same brand -- and he had the identical problem. Overall -- I am extremely pleased and the fixture is beautiful.

We ordered two pendants to replace two recessed lights that didn't provide enough light where it was needed. I like the color (oiled bronze), I like the ability to choose diffusers *I* want separately from the pendant, and I like that the pendants use regular compact fluorescent bulbs as well as "spots." Most of all, I like that the pendants put the light right where I need it to be. All in all, I'm a satisfied customer.

The shipping time was well within reason and the product was packaged nicely so that we did not have to worry about any sort of damage and then the hassle that goes with it. The fixture fits our living room perfectly with the style we were trying to create. I am not a fan of floor lamps, but this is more of a piece of art than your typical floor lamp. Expensive, but well worth it for the quality and appearance.

Seeing Hubbardton Forge fixtures in person in a designers' showhouse, we knew what we wanted. We ordered according to what our needs were: to transform a mid-60s tudor interior into an Arts & Crafts haven. This is the chandelier that we carefully chose from pictures and descriptions with confidence in the brand quality. We added a dimmer - and magic happened. Remember the "Christmas morning" feeling you got when you were a kid and rushed into the room and saw all the gifts?...that's how I now feel about my Hubbardton Forge fixtured rooms.

THe lights arrived very quickly. Once up, they are even better. Husband had a slightly difficult time, but that was more related to lack of experience and having two toddlers running around while trying to install. We are very pleased, and will look at this brand as well as this web site for future lighting needs.

We ordered these shades in white to cover candle-type lightbulbs on a black iron chandelier. They fit perfectly on the bulbs and cast a nice even light. The shade material is a nice heavy weight, with straight seams and edges. The shades are the right height and circumference, making a good balance with the iron structure of the chandelier.

It's a nice fixture for the price; finish is good, scale and proportion are very good. A very good piece to use when you need something budget conscience. I like all of the Hubbardton Forge products for that reason.

The vanity lights are beautiful in the bathroom. Producing good light over the mirror and inhances the vantiy under them. I recomment this product to the one who enjoys old world look.

I love this lamp now that I finally got it assembled. The "spider" fitting used to mount the opal lamp shade didn't fit the holes in the shade. I had to take a wrench and carefully twist it. Also the mounting lip on the lamp where the spider rests was at a slight angle - which made the shade lean at an angle. So I had to put a small shiv between the mounting ring shade to get the shade at a 90 degree angle. I love the look of the lamp I just wish Hubbardton would spend as must time engineering their lamps as they do on designing them.
