On the website the fixtures looked and were advertised as flush mount. The crown moulding is not flush mount to the ceiling, but there is about an inch around the fixture of exposed white fiberboard or whatever material was used. I hired someone to put the fixtures up, no directions included. Cheap overall product. Poorly designed...in order to change the tube lights, the whole fixture has to come down to do that. It would be overpriced at half the price. I do have to say the crown moulding is nicely done. Hopefully other Texas Fluorescent products have better design and thought put into them...

That's it! I love the looks and look forward to installing it in our summer cottage in Nova Scotia next summer. It has a very dark kitchen and I think this should be just the ticket! Fluorescent for adequate light-the wood-trimmed cover for diffusion and good looks.

The quality of these fixtures is very good, except that they arrived damaged, so we had to get the covers replaced. Better packaging for shipping is recommended. But, overall we are happy with the product and customer services was very helpful in getting the replacement pieces to us quickly.

I bought 6 units. Each one had to have the wood frame repaired before installation. Each one had to have retaining clip replaced. Hard to install, too. Not worth what I paid.

Good fixture for the cost. probably better suited as a building or landscape flood than the application I used on a pole.time will tell how it holds up to the elements here in so. FL.
