I was very limited on space above a mirror in my bathroom. I had looked everywhere for a light, but the only lights I could find in stores were wall mount, and I needed a ceiling mount. This light fit perfectly, and looks awesome. Love it! There are two things to note: 1. this light takes a SMALL base light bulb. 2. in the picture the light looks straight, but it actually curves which makes it even better looking!

Wasn't having much luck finding anything I liked in our local Home Depot & Lowes stores. I wanted something "different" that nobody else has and this fixture caught my eye right away. Based on the other reviewers positive comments, I ordered 3 in the black finish. One for my back door and 2 on my garage. I was so happy when I opened the boxes! I have a patio set with a black finish and this light fixture fit in perfectly and added a touch of class to the rest of my outdoor decor. I can't say enough good things about this. At first, I used the existing light bulbs, which were the white color and it didn't look right. I switched to the clear bulbs and what a difference!!!!!! You won't regret buying this.

This, I believe, our third or fourth purchase from LU and each time has been a good experience. It is good to be able to view great many fixtures and find the one you are looking for. This is definitely the way to shop and the fixture looks as good as we thought it would over our breakfast table. The personnel are always easy to deal with and couldn't be better.

Ordered five lights for our home on August 16th. The product arrived on a timely basis but two of the globes were broken. Ordered replacements for the globes and when they arrived we found one of the globes broken and one globe was flawed with a bubble in the glass. We decided we could live with the flawed globe but requested a replacement for the cracked globe and when the replacement arrived it was flawed again with two bubbles in the glass.

I find it hard to believe this product goes thru much inspection before leaving the factory as it is impossible to not to see the flaws in this glass on either one of these flawed globes.

The light does look nice but we found ordering from this company very frustrating.

I ordered this model over a year ago to flank both sides of the garage door. For the cost, you can't go wrong with this look. They are extremely bright because the cracked glass magnifies the light and the black holds up well to harsh environments.

I love the overall concept, and the shade is very nice, but the fit is sloppy. The glass & metal parts don't line up correctly and the screws are too long, so the decorative knobs come out at an angle, detracting from what would otherwise be a sleek, crisp look.

The shade was not connected adequately to the suspension arm...had to add washers and re attach the arm so the shade was solid and not wobbly....very cheap. Should have cost maybe 30.00

We purchased these sconces in black for outside our side and back doors. These are very solid lights with thick glass that will blend with almost any decor. For the price, they are far better than the small standard fare skimpy lights that are usually used for backdoors. Very good value and exactly as pictured. These lights will not disappoint you.

I love this chandelier! It is very well made and everything was exactly as described. I bought the antique bronze and it is exactly what I wanted - a deep chocolate color. The globes are really pretty, too. My style is a little transitional and this fits in great. The instructions weren't great - I'm glad I had installed one before. Also, the shipping took about 2 weeks...

The fixture arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, and is of nice quality. There are minor chips on the edge of the glass but these are almost imperceptible so they don't impact the look (you only know they are there if you run your fingers along edge of glass). My only disappointment is that the instructions do not match the fixture, but since the assembly is very simple it was easy to do without instructions and only took 15 minutes! The fixture really makes my bathroom look modern and updated. I am very pleased with it and recommend it to others. The item looks great both up and down facing - although when down facing you'll need smallish bulbs so they don't peak out from the glass. Upright, the bulbs do not show at all.

This fixture can be mounted either pointing up or down but we mounted pointing up and it looks quite nice. It has a modern look. It doesn't come with light bulbs. We purchased short compact fluorescents but they had to have a short profile because the glass shades are not tall enough to cover tall bulbs. The glass shades are also very narrow and it is difficult to screw-on the holding nut and the light bulbs. You have to have very small hands and some patience to do this.

This mini pendant is delivered with 2 extensions tubes, but in fact you can remove one or both of them. In this case it becomes a ceiling fixture that can be oriented in any direction. The design is very clean making it blend with almost any modern room. A great polyvalent mini pendant for the price!

Fixture has nice clean lines. we installed it with lights aiming downward and looks great. especially like how it has a bit of an arc that projects it out over the brushed nickel framed mirror in new bathroom. lighting universe had the best price for this light on the entire internet.

Thats how long it took to have our 2 bathrooms done. Husband really tried but 6 kids and 3 jobs left little time for anything else. Finally time was right for him to say let someone else take over. Found this lovely light fixture to match my Moen bath fixtures perfectly. Everyone that has seen the bathroom thinks it looks like a spa. Very nice lamp for the money. Incredible value. Looked around A LOT before finding this for the spot under a cabinet over the kitchen sink. I won't use either of the 2 tube extensions that come with the unit to allow it to be hung low. Easy to accommodate the lamp to the base without the extension tubes for a short hanging mount. Very easy, straight-forward installation. Comes pre-wired with about 12 feet of the stuff! Best part? It accepts regular, medium socket light bulbs, so compact fluoros will fit, and no exotic, hot bulbs to replace. Yeah!

10/11/08 I take back the 5* rating for #10012-01-14. The ballast lasted only 1 yr. I've been corresponding with Forte Lighting for several months - I Special Ordered 2 ballasts for $50, was told there was a 3-month shipping delay, now they tell me 3 more months. What a crock! I'm going to get another fixture. Don't waste your $ on Forte Lighting products. :( Linda S

The service was excellent and the quality of the light is excellent. But the light had to be assembled from many small pieces and there were not instructions for this assembly--only a sketchy diagram that did not accurately depict all the parts or any advice for assembly. We had to take the light down four times to get it assembled correctly by trial and error. Now that it's properly installed, it's beautiful, works well and provides excellent lighting--but it was a struggle to get to this point.

After searching and searching for the right chandelier I came across this one. At first I was kind of weary because the pictures didn't do it much justice. But once I received it I can appreciate the little details of the light fixture. I especially love the linen look to the glass shades. Installation did not seem to take long (My stepfather installed it). Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product and website to anyone looking for quality light fixtures and great prices.

This light is gorgeous! It fits perfectly into my smaller dining room and looks great! You can't tell from the picture but it has special detailing under each light--there is some decorative metal detail that's in a chrome finish. This sits on top of the brushed nickel. It's a nice touch. I also bought the pendants which look really good with it too.

We love the look of our chandlier that we installed over our dining room table. The only disappointment was that there is a knob on the side of the main part that allows you to change from one middle light, the outer four lights or all lights. However, the knob is large and really detracts from the look of the chandelier. We had to position the light so that the knob is facing a corner that doesn't have much traffic, so that it isn't noticable.

These lights look fantastic on our traditional style white house. They replaced outdated traditional polished brass fixtures. The seeded glass obscures the light bulb so you notice the fixture, not the bulb. They are very good quality. Bulbs are easy to change from the open bottom. The back plate screws on a little lower than center which can make installation a bit tricky if you are attaching them on a square wooden mounting block.

I bought two similar lamps. Both had poor paint and both had damage where the shade is attached to the stem. However, the damage probably came from the over-seas shipping since the boxes were fine. Damage was not visible until the lamps were unpacked. Overall quality is poor. Materials used were flimsy. I would not recommend.

This is a nice pendant, and the milky white glass pattern is very interesting, but I feel a little misled by the web page. I was under the impression that I had to buy the glass shade in addition to the lamp. Now I own the pendant that already came with a glass shade and another glass shade!

I needed a large fixture to replace the cheap fixture the builder installed. This fixture was beautiful and reasonably priced comparitively speaking. My husband installed it this weekend and it really dresses up the room. I bought the matching chandelier for over the roman tub and can't wait for him to install that as well. The master bath already looks more luxurious with just the installation of this fixture. Great product.

I had gotten several of these and several of the Quorum 19" square light. These lights were packaged much more securely and the installation was much easier. Unlike the 19" lights the mounting holes on this light included a set on the 45 degree diagonal that match the screws on a standard octagonal box. Wiring and mounting was easy, light is bright and looks good. Good value.

I ordered these sconces to flank my back door. I wanted something new and different. I love French country style and felt that these really fit into that category. I was worried that they might be too small, but they were not. In fact, they are pretty substantial. From the black finish to the beautiful crackled glass, these definitely did not disappoint. This is quite a good light. However, you can only fit the standard indoor CF lights - the larger outdoor CF lights (weather rated) won't fit! Note that this light has an open bottom - lets light out and moths in!

This product is nicely made and reasonably priced and I am satisfied with the purchase. The only drawback is that the glass assembly is a bit difficult to mount to the fixture and there were no instructions for this particular model. Once mounted though, the bulbs are easy to change and the glass does not have to be removed.

This light fixture looks exactly as pictured! It has added a nice touch to the seating area that it was purchased for. The bowl pendant is centered and suspended 4' over a marble top coffee table that is surrounded by a large white sofa and two matching chairs. It looks great!!

I love these sconces! They look wonderful in my bathroom -- and the price couldn't be beat. I shopped at two stores before finding these online -- one a bathroom showroom and the other a lighting store. One store had similar sconces for $190/ea my "discounted price" and the other for $99/ea. After my purchase I've seen similar sconces in a well-known home store for $129/ea. Mine were $48. Well worth it!

The color of this chandelier appears to have more gold in the finish than it actually has in real life. It's true finish is a rich brown, with some non-metalic gold. That said I love the style and proportions. It has a bit of an Asian/trendy feel while remaining elegant. I think it's unique and well worth the price.

I shopped for a long time and looked at hundreds of lights (OK, maybe thousands) before I found the perfect one. This chandelier is exactly what I wanted. Clean lined but dramatic. Very bright with the recommended 100 watt bulbs, however I have mine on a dimmer. When I want just "mood lighting" the amber shades just absolutely glow creating a very cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

Love it, love it! Had been shopping at local stores for months to try & find just the right look. Then I went online & found these treasures! Another positive review clinched my decision when I found out that they could be hung up or down....I wanted them down but fixtures were shown only up. I am totally satisfied with my purchase!

After spending quite some time searching for a cage-type foyer fixture---I finally found it! I did not want any glass, and wanted something that had an open feel to it; something simple. The finish on this fixture is smooth, flawless and superb. It has a nice weight to it and is NOT cheap-looking, to say the least.---I cannot believe the price! Another feature is that the candle bases are not white, but brown. I cannot find one thing wrong with this product. Highly recommended!

Received this light this week. Lighting Universe is always great to deal with. The web site is easy to travel, and they are able to shipout what I need promptly, and have a great ordering system. The sconce is a low priced one, but very nice. The style works well with my home, and I wanted something for under $70, and it's a great solid sconce lamp with nice finish for that low price-point.
    **** A note that I hope makes it to the Manufacturer>.......the cheap, copied install instructions are for a pole lamp mount, and clearly don't apply to a wall sconce in parts included- or installation process. I was dissapointed that the manufacturer took a shortcut with something as important as the correct instructs. If you're having it installed professionally, your contractor will know how to install, but if you're a DIY person like myself, the right instructions will cut installation time down by an hour.

Very pleased with this light fixture. I was able to install it in less than 15 minutes by myself. Product seems very sturdy and well put together. And it looks great!

We are very happy with the 1-Light Energy Saving Flush Mount fixtures by Forte Lighting. We installed them in an upstairs hallway with very low ceilings. We replaced some old recessed lights that were allowing a lot of warm air to escape into the attic. These fixtures were easy to install and are beautiful. The glass is frosted, with a white-on-white marbled pattern that shows when the light is on. The fluorescent bulbs came with the fixtures. They cast a pleasant, warm light.
