I was impressed with my first purchase, received it almost before I even ordered it, but thought it was a fluke. How could I possibly get such good service and fast delivery a second time... well, it happened again. Now I'm looking around the house for places to put more lamps, I'm that impressed!

This lamp is beautiful. It really "classes" up the room. The shade is really wide, so that will take some getting used to - but very modern and clean looking! Much better than we expected.

For the quality of this lamp, I could have purchased one from Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc.; the quality of those lamps may be even better. The shade is sub-par material. Speaking of the lampshade, don't be fooled by the online picture. They photograph a lamp with black trim against a black background. No where in the specs of the lamp was it listed that there was black trim. So, it is not just a white lamp shade, it has black trim at the top and the bottom. The lamp looks cheap and a bit tacky. I wouldn't buy it again;

Beautiful lamp, even better than pictured. Our only complaint was that the shipping box was dented and the lamp shade had a slight bend in the rim. The shippers need to take more care!

The lamp arrived in a well packed box, and looked exactly like its photo. No disappointments here. In fact, I really love the lamp, and its overall quality. I have never purchased a lamp on line before. This was such a good experience, I won't hesitate to purchase another lamp from this company, in the near future.

I really loved these lamps, but the color is not as described. I wanted "cream" and "silver" with a cream shade, but these lamps have quite a light green tinge to them. In fact, the lamp shade definitely is not cream and looks pale, pale green.

These lamps are gorgeous but not the highest quality for the price paid. The antique gold surface was chipped in a few areas, and when I attempted to clean the mirror with glass cleaner, some of the gold surface came off on the paper towel. I expected higher quality from a designer lamp.

Lamps were delivered quickly and very well packed. The pictures and descriptions in the (online) catalog were very predictive of the actual lamps. The colors of the base are neutral and will look good with a wide variety of room colors.

The color is like a polished pearl. The contemporary design is a real conversation starter, and is all one piece. The wide shade creates a spectacular light effect both on the wall and the ceiling, giving a large area of illumination.

The only flaw is the shade does not fit snug on the lamp.

Althought the lamp was on back order and delivery took longer than I expected, the wait was worth it. The lamp was easy to assemble and is good quality. I shopped around because I wanted something sturdy with a modern but traditional design. Most floor lamps are either too traditional or too basic. This lamp looks great in my bedroom and I am very pleased. I also have the matching table lamp.

The table lamp I purchased (Ambiance by Minka 12347) looks lovely on the end table in our family room. The quality of the lamp is great, it arrived in perfect condition and the only "very slight" complaint I would have is that the lamp shade took a little tweaking to make it sit perfectly straight on the lamp.
Overall, I'm very happy with this order and would not hesitate ordering from Lighting Universe in the future.

I love this fixture. The finish and overall look is beautiful. The only thing I didn't like is that it is a plug in fixture ( which I don't know). We rewired it, but the wire comes out of the bottom of the mirror and cannot be moved. We had to pull it back and it is hidden pretty good. You really have to look for the wire to see it. Overall pretty satisfied.

The Ambience Mirror construction is shoddy. I'm really dissapointed in the mediocre quality of the Ambience Mirror. There are glue joints squeezed out the front and stained over. Its just not close to ANYTHING I would have expected for $300.

This is a fabulous lamp! The pricing is extraordinary. My skeptic husband guessed I'd paid at least $650. for the lamp. Make sure you measure the intended space for the lamp, as it is no shrinking violet. We centered it on a beautiful dinig room console (instead of the original plan - putting it off to the side). It makes a lovely statement as well as centerpiece for the furniture. High value/unbelievable price! Buy it.

The quality is rather mediocre. The color of the pole is pretty, and the glass shade is very nice. I really expected it to have a more expensive look. The mirror portion has a lot of paint/glue smeared on it. and pole sections don't fit as tightly as I would like. It doesn't have a solid feel, feels a little wobbly. I do like the dimmer switch. The overall look in the room is nice.
