This is a great, modern, clean-lined light fixture that doesn't look like the boring ceiling fixture you normally see. Beware - the fluorescent version is pretty dim; it gives a "twilight" look, even in my 8'x10' bathroom.

I ordered three and they arrived in great condition. Not hard to install at all EXCEPT that the hardware for attachment to the ceiling is cheap. I beefed it up by going to the hardware store. Otherwise great product.

This product is basically a cheap way to do thin cable track lighting. Almost all its competitors will cost you at least 5 or 6 times as much money. Now, the fixtures are fine, and reasonably cute, but there are other areas in which you will understand the cheapness. Most higher end systems of this nature can be hung anywhere; these have to go wall to wall, with the cable going right into the wall, rather than being connected to the ceiling. It's ugly. And moreover, the wire they supply looks like aluminum, and is subject to kinks, and lots of them. The reason I give for the title is because with some aircraft cable and, brackets, and togglebolts, I was able to eliminate both the kinking and hanging issues, making this still a great deal.

I bought the Tao pendants. I bought them because the delicate pendant lights I purchased from an expensive store burned up on the after 5 years. The Tao lights are quite nice, the perfect size for my kitchen and offer nice lighting for a fraction of the cost of most other lights.

The bulbs that came with it do not provide much light. I'm going to try to get brighter ones at Lowes but there is a 40w max.

Very interesting light kit - adds great character to a room. Very modern. I bought for my overhead kitchen lighting and it may not provide enough light. It came with 20 watt halogen bulbs. I'm going to look for higher wattage.

I have two track lights in my yoga studio. I have the lease for one more year, and one of the tracks shorted out. The manufacturer no longer makes this particular track, and I was looking at the expense of now replacing TWO tracks. The manufacturer also did not sell the replacement parts. So either way, this would have cost me far more than I was willing to spend for a remaining year in the current space. The replacement hardware fit like a charm with the existing track equipment, thus saving me over $500! Thank you!

This is the third Tiele system that I have purchased. Generally I have been very pleased with the quality and reliability of the product. However, the reason that I purchased this particular package was that my transformer burned out after just 1 year of heavy use (with 150 watts). So instead of just purchasing a new transformer, I decided to purchase the pack with the additional rails and hardware. This way I will be prepared for a more extensive installation next time. The life of this transformer will determine if I purchase another.

This product would be good except for the cheap plastic threaded connector. I've had 2 of these break so far, and replacements are not available. W/o them the fixture is unusable. Tiella needs to either improve the strength or (at least) make replacements available.

We had some issues putting this light in because the fixture is VERY HEAVY. The bracket that comes with the light seemed unlikely to hold the weight safely, so we purchased a different type of bracket and drilled new holes in order to install it without the fear of the entire fixture crashing down! Now that the light is in place, it looks beautiful and we are happy with the quality and appearance of our purchase.

The light is gorgeous, looks very high end and is simple and streamlined in design. it is made with what appear to be quality materials, and they look great in my home. only problem is they are VERY heavy.. the glass portion is very heavy and as a result cannot be hung from regular junction box... must be hung using fan braces for extra heavy fixtures... makes installation a little more difficult.

Found the light for the bathroom in my condo. Decided to get it to update the look in the bathroom. It's a very nice light, however, it takes 2 people to hang it. I had a hard time by myself trying to get it hung and wired. The glass is very heavy and it screws into place with 4 little screws. I had to get someone to hold the glass so I could get them in evenly. Overall though, it's very nice.

I used 5 of these over my dining room table and it put the finishing touch on the room. They are good looking unlit and when you illuminate them they have a wonderful glow that highlights the imbedded onyx chips. I'm very happy with this product.
