Just received light in the mail, came very quickly. Looks perfect. Came with two extra light covers which is very generous. Can hardly wait to get it installed; have to wait for ceiling drywall to be installed. Like it because it is modern and glamorous looking and you can arrange it however tightly or loosely coiled you would like. Also like it because it is 5 bulbs of 20 watts each so gives off a good amount of light.

Lots of pieces to put together. It took my experienced contractor 3 hours to assemble the light. Expect to spend more money on labor fees or more time if you're doing it yourself. The light is great, bright and just what I wanted.

I purchased this light almost two years ago for my (then) new contemporary home in Potomac MD. Everyone who comes to our house comments on how elegant and striking the light is. It's a little tricky to get the frame flat and square, but worth it.

I love the look of the light and it shows very well in the bathroom. I purchased the one with two 150w lights. The light is very bright until you put the glass shade on it. I would suggest if you need a lot of light or have a bigger bathroom to go with the upgraded four 150w lights. Works good for my small 5x9 foot bathroom.

Beautiful light fixture. The shape is very retro 70's. It is subltly cool, not obnoxiously flashy. There are 3 small halogen bulbs. They are not very bright but provide ample light. My only complaint is that I wish it used larger/brighter bulbs.

They are absolutely beautiful. The only thing is since they are onyx you can not guarantee the stone will look the same on all. One of mine are darker in color when they are on high (they are on a dimmer), I wish they were all the exact color but I can live with it. When they are on low they look like candles glowing in the air, they are gorgeous.

If you are tired of the same old look in vanity lights then I encourage you to consider this light! It looks fresh and modern, without looking weird (especially having to face it first thing every morning). The light quality is great, bright without glare. I especially liked the feature of the different sizes available. It arrived promptly in great shape, the price is right, and nothing like it was available in my area. I am very pleased!

I am the type of person that loves the unusual and unique. I looked for about a year and a half until I finally found what I was looking for. This light is well made and exactly as described by Lighting Universe. It is beautiful hand-blown green glass with molded distressed looking copper. It is just gorgeous and has a warm green glow to it when lit! I am very happy with my light and with the service at Lighting Universe.

We got 3 of these for our living room. I love the nice contemporary design of this sconce but because of so much stainless steel, the light doesn't dissipate well. Very little of light gets through the bottom, majority of the light is reflected onto the ceiling. We ended up installing additional recess lights to compensate for the lack of light. If your goal is to produce a well lit area, I wouldn't recommend it.

After receiving the fixture I was more than pleased. It adds the finish touch to my bathroom -- makes the entire environment warm and cozy. Just what I wanted!
My only negative is that the bulbs were not sent and I had a little difficulty finding them. I think I ended up with the correct ones!

I bought this 2 yrs ago, I think. It sits over my dining kitchen table that is 8 feet long, so I needed a long light. It was a little difficult to install, since you have to adjust all 4 hanging wires to the same lenght, but well worth it. People love it, and so do I. This light is on everyday, when I am in the house, and I haven't had a bulb burn yet! And it is very bright so I use a dimmer.

The light looks very good. It took time to assemble and there was a broken glass diffuser. The 3-100W bulbs from the manufacturer were terrible, they were very dim. I had to buy 3 new 100W bulbs and now there's plenty of light.

I bought this outdoor sconce a year and 3 months ago, It looks nice, but that's where it ends, its VERY poorly made. They used a plastic casing to house the bulb, which is probably not a good idea for an outdoor fixture. The top of the housing has completely rotted, and literally, crumbled away. The side of the housing is also cracking and crumbling. I have been using a CFL bulb (the housing is CFL approved), and am well within the wattage specs on their instruction sheet. Also, the plastic sheet that sits between the satin nickel face and the bulb has also cracked. I contacted PLC and even sent them pictures of the defect, and they refuse to send me a replacement plastic housing unit, which would probably cost their company pennies. The cost and quality of this product don't match up. Do yourself a favor and avoid overspending on PLC's poorly made products.

This product came damaged. One of the pins holding the counterbalance was broken. When I inquired of the possibility of a replacement piece, I was told that such a replacement piece was not possible. This unit had to be glued together to make it work at all. It is made of fairly cheesy plastic.... I would have expected better for the $. The design of the light is good but the materials are not up to the job.

The holes in the glass are not exactly drilled where they need to be to allow the glass to perfectly center on the bulb once the 3 screw are installed. It becomes very noticable once the light is turned on and the halo is projected onto the ceiling and you cant make it center on the ceiling jack.

It really is a beautiful light fixture but is really a pain to install. You will definately need 2 people for the job and no beginners. Make sure the person installing has installed fixtures before. You will also need a level and lots of patience.

Looks great when mounted. The bulbs did not come with it but were sent out later after discusion with the salesperson. It has a downlight centrally through a glass port which is hard to see in the picture. That provides an extra interesting feature.

I ordered 2 of these lights for my kids' bedrooms. I just renovated 100 year old house for over a year and spent thousands of dollars on lighting for every single room in the house. When it was time for the electrician to install these lights, he couldn't install one of them because it was missing a tiny black piece that connected the shade to the fixture.

This is the most beautiful fixture. It met all my expectations. It was installed in a tiny powder room that is mirrored on three sides. Painted the other walls purple. I put it on a sliding type dimmer so it goes on and off slowly. It arrived in perfect condition and timely.

Had it installed the other day by a licensed electrician. Within 20 minutes of being in (humming the entire time), it burnt out. Not the bulbs, but the transformer, and now no longer works. Will be returning this for a full refund. Not even that nice looking.

Nice unobtrusive lamp for lighting art work on the wall. I've been using these for several years and have found that the transformers sometimes fail, so now I keep a couple of spares. I would have given it 5 stars if I was more confident about its reliability

The transformer case is different from that shown in photograph. The ones shipped were actually the low profile version. Fortunately, this works fine in my application.

I personally would have preferred additional 600w Halogens.
Several small components were missing or defective.The manufacturer was excellent in providing replacements. Hanging this fixture alone,from an 18ft,was a nightmare.
Besides this fixture, I purchased 6 additionally George Kovac designed bathroom units.I absolutely love all of them. Electronic dimmers only add to it's presents.
