Very poorly designed. It's extremely difficult to get the light to fit flush against the pedestal. It's cantilevered, so I would design it where it has a mechanical mate to the base, not set screws (which tear into the paint when you tighten). Then they short right in the lamp's wires. Not designed for remodel boxes either. You end up seeing the wall box. Also, they screwed up the mount mechanism to the wall. You will have to modify the mounting plate to get it even close to fitting flush.

Overall I am happy with this light. it was a little smaller than I expected from the picture but that was better for the location I put it. The quality seemed nice and the installation was pretty easy. The light coming from xenon bulb looks good.

My only issue is that with the 50watt bulb it is too bright if your eyes are in the line of sight of the bulb itself (not blocked by glass). It must be pointed down or towards a wall. I'm going to try a 35watt bulb to see if that helps a little.

I can't comment on the instructions for my mini pendant. I had an electrician install them since I needed some new wiring. Otherwise, they are great!
