Step-down Class H magnetic transformers feature strong construction for stable lighting performance and years of quiet trouble-free operation. Fully dimmable. Designed for solid or suspended ceilings. J-Box with three ½" knockouts and spring latch access plates. New construction models approved for through-circuit 90°C wiring. Maximum of five No. 12 AWG The housing is removable through ceiling aperture for access to junction box. Snap-off transformers and Ceramic terminal block. "Sure-Grip" spring permits the housing to be lowered to adjust to ceiling thickness. New construction models feature reversible dual extension hanger bar that spans from 15" to 25¼". Integral holding spikes for easy mounting to wood joists. Hanger bars may also be extended to rest on T-bar ceilings.
