How close to the motion detecor does a person have to be before motion is detected A:It depends on the setting you choose for the sensitivity. Usually around 10-20 feet though. Timothy

I don't have instructions for setting my motion detector security light and my house painters must have changed something. There are 3 "switches" on the back of the sensor part and I can't see which one does what? A:I will see what I can do. I have requested operating instructions from the manufacturer. Upon receipt, I can email them to you.
