This is very good light for the price, it is large but not overbearing. It's nice that you can place two bulbs up to 100 watts. The assembly directions were not the best however, just looking at the picture and working with the parts were enough to make this simple to put together. Also, I liked the fact that it came with the inner mounting adapter, I have an old home with some of the old electrical boxes which are smaller than today's standard electrical box, the adapter worked like a charm to make a sturdy connection. This is an all around good buy.

The lamp arrived with no assembly instructions. I started putting it together by intution and discovered that parts were obviously missing. Of course I couldn't tell what exact parts because there were no instructions and no parts list. I called the manufacturer and was told the assembly instructions and parts list were online andf I had to contact the company I had purchased the lamp from for the missing parts. I do not want to have to go online for instructions when I have to assemble something - I want them inf front of me. After going online to find the part number I called ATG stores and am still waiting for the missing part. I will probably return the lamop and get a different model from a different manufacturer after this experience.

You cannot go wrong with a Murray Feiss product. Very stylish and affordable. We have a small foyer and I picked this for the simplicity. The white shade was important to me. I wish it hung down a little more. You have to stand far away to see the upper part of the light. Make sure you pay attention to the measurements of the light when you purchase.
