I purchased the BrassGuard Outdoor light to install as a ceiling mount above the center of a new sliding glass door (I had no room for a wall mount due to corner spacing & window spacing.) I was a little concerned that it might hang down too low even with using the direct ceiling mount, but it doesn't. Installed in a few minutes and looks great.
