The bronze finish and base look cheap and was disappointed in the lamp's appearance. the finish is a poor imitation and the base looks WalMart in style. assembly and packaging receive high marks. instructions and components also were fine. good quality light but not great qualty rating on the finish.

The pharmacy lamp we picked out for our living room is of fine quality and looks terrific next to our leather couch. It arrived quickly and packed tightly so the lamp was not damaged in shipping. We were very pleased with the quality, looks and service we got. Thank you.

Overall this is a very good product. This is a sturdy lamp that was easy to assemble. It is much more stable than most floor lamps in this price range but still not perfect - it could use a little more weight added to the base. The finish on the metal is very nice. The reflector in the lampshade doesn't fill the whole shade - it stops short of the end so looks like someone at either the design end or the production end didn't make that last bit of effort to really make this a perfect design.
Note that there is no dimmer.
