The bracket is quite heavy, very solid and the finish is beautiful. The only complaint that I have is that it is perhaps too heavy. A lighter bracket could possibly be cheaper. Also, it would be nice if it used #8 screws rather than #6. In my application (mounting porch railings) I couldn't get long enough screws to reach through the trim to the actual post.
