The light with a 75 watt halogen light is absolutely perfect to highlight my American flag in my front yard. Since the flag isn't too high I did not need the more powerful spotlight. I had done a lot of research to find what I knew I wanted and one of the reviews on the next size spotlight said they had also used it to highlight a flag so I knew I had found it. My electrician put it on a photocell with a switch if I need to take the flag down when the wind is blowing too strongly.
