I bought the P210 as a desk lamp, and I should have gotten something much larger. But that's my fault. The lamp looks good, is easily adjustable, and gives a good light right under the head. But unless I position it to the left of my work, it throws a shadow across my working hand that obscures what I'm writing or reading.
But the worst thing is that the little screws holding the glass shade in place, which have to be removd to install the bulb, are both nonstandard (in the U.S., anyway) and soft. My Philips screwdriver wouldn't fit, and the small regular screwdriver (forgive me if I don't know the precise hardware names) that I used stripped the screwheads. I had to bend the soft metal of the frame to release the shade, and then bend it back after installing the supplied bulb. I only hope this bulb lasts a LONG time!
I didn't return the lamp because that's a hassle and I did finally get it to work. But for a Kovacs product, I'm disappointed.
One other thing: the seller's website explicitly said that the bulb was NOT supplied, so I purchased the recommended bulb. But a bulb came inside the package for the lamp, and the instructions clearly implied that it was supposed to be there. So I bought an extra bulb I might not need. (And the same thing happened with another lamp I bought from Lighting Universe at the same time.)
