I ordered this lamp for lighting to read by rather than use all of the overhead lighting. I really like the look of the lamp but even with the 100 watt max 3 way bulb the lighting is not bright. Perhaps it is the shape of the shade or the color? If you want it for mood lighting or looks, this one is for you.

Great lamps, better than the look in the picture. My only complaint is that the shades are narros, so you can only put up to 100W bulbs in them. Other than that, they look awesome!
