Good looking lamp, low Wal-Mart quality, I expected better. Arrived without instructions or light bulb, had to wait 2 weeks to get a replacement bulb so I could turn it on. I'm going to keep it, just because I'm using it in my office & if it was better quality someone might steel it!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
