Electronic Surface Mounted Transformer Surface Mounted Transformers are decorative and are best suited for applications where there is an existing junction box in a finished ceiling.

Surface Mounted Transformers are available in electronic and magnetic versions, ranging from 12V 150 watts to 24V 600W.
Surface Mounted Transformers suspend the Monorail 3â€ from the ceiling, and are compatible with standard 3â€ Rigid Standoffs.
A Power Feed Cable Extender (MA-PFS) may be added for longer drops of 48â€ or 96â€.
