The lamp is beautiful and sends warm light down on our kitchen island. It was fairly easy to install...my husband and I have a lot of common sense between us so it only took us about 3 hours to put up! We thought that was good as these 'home projects' can always double in estimated time to completion. Shortening the pendants was the scariest part and I would recommend going a bit longer than you think...you can always shorten but once it's cut, it's cut. Ours is 'just' okay in length...any shorter and I would have been pretty upset. The finish scratches super easy so leave all plastic coverings on until you must remove. Overall, we're very happy with it. The quality seem a couple notches up from Lowe's, the look is unique and the light is warm and cosy...not super bright but fine to read under even.

I bought it to have over my kitchen table and its my favorite part of the kitchen.I would recomend to anybody-its a great light to have
